Wynbrook Equestrian Centre

My daughter really enjoys riding at the Wynbrook Equestrian Centre. The coaches are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable in the Hunter / Jumper disciplines and the staff are very friendly and supportive. They have two interior riding arenas and one of them is very large compared to other riding schools in the area. The Administration is very organized and are quick to respond to inquiries. Electronic invoices and receipts, and online riding schedules are provided.

I’ve loved horses my entire life but growing up due to personal circumstances, never thought riding was an option for me. Then, as an adult I made a choice to invest in myself and when I did I asked myself what brings me peace ? The immediate and only answer was horses! So, I decided to look into riding. I was so nervous starting later in life than most in the horse world , and being a shy awkward person to begin with, that what ever riding school I ended up at I might feel embarrassed , silly , not included or a part of the riding world. And, I really knew nothing about riding schools or where to start.a friend recommended Wynbrook —- and I am SOOOOOO happy they did!!I’ve had nothing short of a positive experience from the tour of the barn , my first lesson and every day since. Wynbrook has amazing horses, people and culture !! The school horses all have such wonderful, vibrant, fun and gentle personalities. And, Jacob’s the best horse of them all ask anyone ! :) I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few different coaches now and each one of them have just been amazing - supportive, approachable, warm, patient, uplifting and never do they ever make me feel bad or judged for not knowing something. If you join Wynbrook no matter what coach you get you’re in for a treat ! And every lesson help is there with a smile, just so friendly and helpful and making you feel good about being at the barn. I don’t know much about the culture of the riding world , but what I do know is that from what I’ve seen coaches , lesson help, riders and owners these are all very genuine, kind and down to earth people who care about the horses and the people Riding them. You know just by looking at them that every horse is well loved and treated ethically, and every rider is happy to be there.I could go on and on and on!!I’ll just end with a special note on the owners. You couldn’t find better , more friendly , kind and understanding people !! Always so responsive and thoughtful, and engaged.I don’t know what other schools are like , but i know I don’t need to. Wynbrook is the school for me now and for always ! Thank you Wynbrook for making my horse lovers dream come true ! :) :)

Wynbrook is amazing. I didn’t have experience with horses but really wanted to learn so I decided to try Wynbrook. Lisa and Joel were so friendly and gave me a tour of the facility. After seeing how clean the barn was and how well cared for the horses were I decided to sign up for lessons with my adult daughter. The staff was amazing. They taught me how to connect with the horse (their school horses are so good) and tack up. They also helped my daughter with her horse and tack since she is disabled. We love every minute of our rides. The coaches are so patient and encouraging. They gave my daughter and I the courage to believe in ourselves.

We just started at Wynbrook and have been impressed with the quality of teaching. We also appreciate the assistance provided by the staff in the barn that help our daughter with tacking her horse before and after class.

Wynbrook is undeniably the best barn I have ridden at!! The Lalonde family, coaches and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. As well as the high level of care for the horses and students is unlike any barn I have been to over my many years. I have only been riding here for a few months but I feel like I have already learned so much and I am very excited to continue my journey here at Wynbrook.

After trying other locations in Eastern Ontario, my daughter started taking riding lessons at Wynbrooke Equestrian Centre a few months ago, and we could not be happier. At her first trial lesson, the instructors carefully assessed her ability and were able able to make recommendations tailored to her. Since then everyone we have met has impressed us immensely; the helpers in the barn who patiently help her brush and tack up the horse, her coach who is not only very knowledgeable and professional but also very kind and encouraging, and the owner who is always in contact with us to answer questions, and provide information.Since starting her lessons, I can see my daughter maturing, becoming more confident and simply thriving with the support of the incredible experience Wynbrook is providing!Yesterday my daughter experienced a medical emergency (not related in any way to riding or the barn) while tacking up her horse. The young woman who was helping us at the time remained calm and quickly supported me and my daughter in a way that was helpful, caring and professional. She greatly impressed me with her level of maturity and compassion. She stayed with my daughter and I throughout and made it clear to both of us that she was willing and able to support us in anyway we needed. As a mother of a child with medical needs I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that! When available, her coach also came to check in my daughter, which again demonstrated to us both how incredibly caring the staff is. The owner, Lisa, was not present at the time, but also reached out to me to check on my daughter, when she was notified of the incident. The team at Wynbrook simply continues to amaze me with their dedication, and their genuine care for all of their students and families.My daughter has loved every minute of her time at Wynbrook Equestrian Center, and my husband and I have also been greatly impressed! After our experience yesterday, however, there is no doubt at all that Wynbrook is an extraordinary and special place, full of very special, compassionate and professional people who care deeply for their students.If you are looking for a place for riding lessons, I can’t imagine a place more wonderful than Wynbrook!

After trying many centres, we have finally found a home at Wynbrook!! The facilities are beautiful, the horses are immaculately cared for and the owners and staff are extremely warm and welcoming. My daughter is thriving, learning more in one lesson than in months at previous centres. I cannot express enough how wonderful Wynbrook is and how grateful I am for my daughter being able to ride here.

Located near the highway 417, it’s an easy access. The staff are always happy and friendly. Always helpful and patient towards students even if some of them take longer to master the art. Good job Wynbrook
