Made an offer to lease a space on Henderson highway though Jared K. He put in the offer and never responded back to my emails to this day. Terrible customer service.I’m certain the owner of the building wouldn’t be too satisfied with shindico knowing that they are not doing their part…I was wondering why this space as been for lease for nearly a year- now I know, the agent isn’t doing his job:

This is a part time company, which must already have too much business to bother to respond to new business inquiries. Just leave them alone and allow them to become desperate. Perhaps then they will take your call or respond to your request.

I began renting with Shindico in December 2019. When the pandemic hit in 2020 they were able to work with me and my reduced income and create a rental plan that worked for both of us. Helen was extremely professional and accommodating, and the caretaker of the building (Tim) was just wonderful. When I decided to leave the building after all due to a cross province move, they were understanding and accommodating. I would rent from them again.

I have had the pleasure of working at Shindico for almost 7 years now, and I honestly can’t picture myself working anywhere else! I volunteered to stay in my 1913 suite while they renovated it -- a much longer project than anybody expected. Helen Chattree does her best to get the different trades out ASAP, but some of them claim to have other projects as well. Helen is smart, pleasant and doesn't take guff from people. . . She responds to what tenants need, while maintaining her bright sense of humour!
