Dan is an absolute professional. Accommodating, knowledgeable, practical and talented. He doesn't over promise and the work he does is simply outstanding. Just over two years ago we had Dan mount an old buck from just outside Seton Portage. It is outstanding and commands the room. I know taxidermy isn't meant to be resilient to rough treatment but with a 1,3, and 5 year olds the buck has had his fair share of 'affection' or pats before I can stop them and he is still beautiful to behold.Sorry the review took me so long to post Dan!

Would highly recommend using Western Taxidermy. Had a Long Eared Owl done recently which turned out great and am currently getting my trophy book bear rug and skull done as well. Great customer service - when I brought in a bufflehead that I wasn't sure was mature enough to get done, unlike other Taxidermists, Daniel recommended that I hold off until I found the perfect specimen instead of giving himself more business. Looking forward to getting more work done here in the future!

I had a fantastic experience working with Dan on my first duck mount. Dan was very helpful in choosing the right pose for my hooded merganser and the end product is much better than I expected. Unlike other taxidermists, Dan wasn't rushing me out of his studio. He takes time with his customers and saves a few extra minutes of each meeting to talk hunting etc. I highly recommend Western Taxidermy.

Daniel provided me with an amazing mount to preserve my memories of the hunt. Excellent quality and craftsmanship. Would highly recommend.

I would strongly recommend Dan at Western Taxidermy!! He did two specklebelly geese for me then two snowgeese then a monster Canada goose and ALL FIVE ARE PERFECT! He's working on a Blue goose and a mallard for me right now. I'll always take my birds to him, he's a great guy, reliable and does a VERY GOOD JOB!
