Ashley is wonderful to work with! My husband and I own The Knox Wedding & Event Venue and we've had the pleasure of working with Ashley in our space for a styled shoot. She went above and beyond to ensure the shoot was an inclusive space celebrating everyone in the room. Her gratitude for everyone involved was tangible! My husband and I had the most traumatic experience with Ashley after she cancelled 5 DAYS before our wedding. I have record of our correspondence and we’ve been nothing but kind and polite to her. A week before she cancelled, she even praised us for how organized we were and thanked us for giving her so much information (my husband loves spreadsheets), unlike the previous couples she’s worked with. Getting in touch with Ashley and Maverick Event Planning was the best decision we could’ve made when trying to plan a wedding (during a pandemic no less). We brought Ashley a bare-bones vision of what we were thinking of for our day, and she filled in all the gaps and brought it to life. AMAZING VENDOR!!! We used Ashley and the maverick team for day-of coordination services for our November 2021 wedding and they did not disappoint! Ashley was there every step of the way, always happy to help, with a smile. Being a ‘Covid bride’ there was a lot of stress with the constantly changing regulations, not to mention multiple date changes. Ashley helped me manage all of it and brought amazing positive energy. She is kind, professional and provides high quality service. On the day of, everything was orchestrated perfectly and I know that that was all thanks to Ashley working her magic behind the scenes. When my husband told me he wanted a backyard wedding I told him that the deal would be to get a planner so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed with all the planning and forget something important. As I would need to plan everything from start to finish!Although I am somewhat of an organized person having Ashley by my side for the whole planning was amazing!I chose a custom planning with Ashley so I could do some of the planning myself and have Ashley there for extra help and day of coordination.She understood my vision from day one, she was as excited as I was every time I talked about my wedding (something my husband wasn’t so enthusiastic about) so it was very nice to share everything with Ashley.She was able to help me bring my dream wedding to life and I couldn’t be happier with the results.Ashley and her assistant Rebecca helped with the rehearsal, directing where everyone needed to be and gave us tips for the day of. This helped so much with my stress.Ashley couldn’t be there for the day of the wedding but her assistant Rebecca did a great job! She made sure everything went smoothly throughout the day. If something went wrong during the day I didn’t even notice! It was just perfect!If you are thinking of getting a planner i highly recommended Ashley and her team.
