Bond Lake
Recently visited Bond Lake (fall season) to see the changing color leaves and I must say not only the walk was AMAZING but the scenery was super gorgeous. The park is clean and well kept. The walking path is clearly indicated and paved so that you are not going off trail. The trees are very healthy and provide so much shade so its pretty breezy when you enter the trail. And the most important part is that this place is all natural and is not man-made.If you like walking and enjoying scenery, recommend this place that is within driving distance (under an hour from downtown core)

Bond Lake
October 2021. 4.5★During the fall season, this place can get a bit crowded. After all, this place boasts free limited parking and is close to both lake Wilcox just a 10 minutes north by bike and Jefferson forest just about 15 minutes by bike. This lake is smaller than lake Wilcox, but is still a nice lake with a trail around the lake. You'll find some people fishing, some paddling on kayaks and once in a while, someone surprisingly swimming. To get to the lake, there is a steep hill. Most people who cycle, generally dismount and walk their bikes down.As your descending down the hill, you see glimpses of the lake with the sun shimmering across it. The fall colors begin to turn in the background. Once your down, you'll pass by an old abandoned house before getting to an open boat launch area. From here, you can continue on the northern trail or wander off into the woods.Option 2 takes you eventually to a dead end, fenced lined, where some either go up or around it to continue forward. Going down this path also takes you to a makeshift dock made of down trees and pieces of scrap wood nailed together. Careful if you go out here.Overall, a nice place to visit.

Bond Lake
Calm, peaceful, mesmerising place and my ideal place to go watch sunrise or sunset! In Richmond Hill and quite close to Yonge Street there is a small fairy tale sleeping beauty! The trail around the lake (Oak Ridges trail) is magnificent as well!

Bond Lake
It is a great quiet area. Visitor often have to park on the grass and road side all around the area. The trail is easy but not too long, good for kids and seniors. Walk surround the entire Lake well take about 12000 steps. It is very busy during fall when everyone try to catch the nice autumn colors. Parking is very limited for such a large area. I would hope that they can improve the parking facility.

Bond Lake
Well preserved piece of land in the city suburban area. Depending how fast you walk it may take roughly about 45 minutes to 1 hour, some man made trails along the lake, not showing on Google maps, serene views from the points where you’re closer to the water. However, city of Richmond Hill should have planned either a parking spots or at least bike racks, and put regular garbage bins instead of plastic bags. Parking is available along the streets Old Colony and Trinch

Bond Lake is gorgeous! You can enjoy the beautiful fall colours by hiking along the lake now. The 2.4km loop hike will take around 1 hour to finish. Whereas the trail is not too easy for seniors or small kids.

Amazing lake, beautiful views, great trails, but not stroller friendly. I do not recommend for seniors and small kids. The parking spots are limited, but free.

Bond Lake
Beautiful park, great trails and views of water.Parking lot is busy / mayhem. Trials are full of garbage (beer cans, tissues, clothes). Locals use bins as a dumping site & leave their garbage near the water.Trials are quiet. Lots of small hills.

Great place to go all year round. Best trail in Richmond Hill. The pathway around the lake is just spectacular and fun to walk. Most beautiful in fall, frozen in winter.
