Well I got to tell you this place is really located in a hole in the wall location. It mostly runs on contributions and so has limited staff, etc. They were really nice and helped me out with my placard.Didnt know that there was a blackmarket for these items, so if you get one, dont leave it in the car unless your using it for parking that is. Don't keep it hanging off of your mirror while driving either, because if you get in an accident the insurer's may hold you respnsoble because you've blocked your vision, etc.Anyway if you feel like supporting a charity or organization give this a look to help out.

Exceptional Customer Service!! This office has handicapped parking and entrance. The entire location is designed to be accessible for Everyone as they try to help people with Disabilities get access to the things that most people take for granted! The people who work here are amazingly knowledgeable about the many programs, educational opportunities and types of assistance that are available and necessary for persons with disabilities. If they don't have an answer, they know where to find it, or who to contact to get the information. I recommend this Office and Especially the People who work here. They manage to be Warm, Welcoming and Empathetic while also being Professional, Efficient and Effective. Many of the staff are volunteers and many of the programs that are available are funded by donation. Please remember that and if possible consider helping if you are able.

A wonderful, courtesy professional older receptionist, very helpful, and compassionate….told me the Lady I wanted to see, was in tomorrow morning, I left feeling Good……Flash toTuesday 9/11/2017Axp 9:30amWow, was I at the same place? New young receptionist, very clueless about the whole thing, had to ask manager, the same manager that was on yesterday……wow No help, the lady I was told would be in, was not, and no one knew if she would, also no call back from her. I have never been in any agency that from one day to the next, was a 360degree turn around, I give them a hesitant 1, and that’s only because of the older receptionist on Monday, what exactly are they here for?

Always helpful and for three renewals have always mailed me a reminder and provide information. For a NGO they are doing an amazing job.

It's hard to rate a disability resource center. In my mind, if they got angry and tossed me out I'd be inclined to think, finally! someone heard me!" In any case

They provide a great service to our community.

I first met these lovely folk before Christmas at the Wellington Library where two of their computer instructors were helping their class find their way with e-mailing and exploring the internet. I was not in the class then, but when I asked if they could help me transfer a Google Street View picture onto my Facebook page they were happy to do so after their class was over and asked if I'd like to be put on the wait list for the next series of classes:)After Christmas I did get the phone call from Christine and I have been working with Jeffery ever since learning all the skills I need to know to help me publish, post, scan, and store among everything we need to know to use computers.Jeffery has been so patient with this elderly student. He never gives up no matter how many times I need reminders and slowly I'm beginning to feel comfortable getting everything on the internet that I've been trying to do since we retired.Coming into the building with Carole's welcome smile, Christine's cheerful hello, and Jeffery's. What are we going to work on today?" makes Wednesday my favourite day of the week and I shall be very sad when the lessons are over. Thank you for offering this excellent resource:)"
