Nice golf course outside town. Was a very windy day when we played, but the course was in good shape. $75.00 with a cart is a good deal.

Speargrass Golf Course
This is a really good golf course and worth the drive from Calgary.Holes 15 - 17 are unique and beautiful, and I think there is enough challenge here for any golfers.They have 5 tee boxes, so any skill level can enjoy their day.

Great value for golf here. Course is usually in good condition with greens rolling fast and true! Challenging but fun with 6 par 5s and 6 par 3s. Can get windy and there are not a lot of trees. Worth the drive from Calgary though. I will be back!

Speargrass Golf Course
I played here for the 1st time today in a tournament. there are some dead grass spots on fairways and greens. 2023 is a bad year for moisture, so it was decently green.$90 on weekends is pricey, compared to playing just around calgary. They have gps on carts and the course is not walkable. Some holes, we drove atleast 1 minute to the next hole.I can play Darcy ranch, Kananaskis or heritage pointe for the same price.

For years we’ve driven by Speargrass and finally had a chance to play here with my family.Not much bad to say. All the staff were friendly and genuine; the course was in great shape; the buggies are gas with lots of vim and GPS with maps and ranges; and the grass range was immaculately kept.If you’re looking for the big clubhouse experience afterward, don’t bother. For us however, I’d rather see the money spent on the course rather than a big clubhouse. Probably why the value was so good - $75 per, including cart and range.Stop here if you have the chance!

Speargrass Golf Course
Had to downgrade my review after spending the last 3 months as a member. Unfortunately, although it is a good course, with a nice staff, the pace of play is unbelievablely slow, and little to nothing is done about it. Regularly had to play 5 hour rounds. In about 20 rounds the best time I was able to manage was 4:39. Fold that in with a 40 minute drive from Calgary and you're looking at 7 hours to play a round of golf. Won't be purchasing a membership again next year.
