This is a great Tour company that really cares about its clients. We have taken several tours with WGT and all have been exemplary. From the moment that you call the office to enquire about a trip or book one, the office staff can’t do enough for you: they are knowledgeable about all the tours; inquisitive about what you would like to do and experience and extremely helpful. The tours guides are all well versed in the knowledge and history of the tour area and the entire company mantra seems to be “Make this trip enjoyable for you”.The tour guides must have all been schooled in patience, risk reduction and adaptation, lateral thinking and, most importantly, humor.When something hasn’t gone as planned, the guides just switch into accommodation mode – what can we do in the current situation. And in every case we have encountered, whatever was done as an alternative was as least as good if not better than the original planned activity. Not that this has happened often but when it did, there were no problems.The tours are well thought out, planned in complete detail, environmentally aware and considerate, attentive to our needs and abilities, and interesting and fun.

Some travelers might a bit leery of booking a WGT mystery tour- not knowing where they might be going. Wilf and I have taken four mystery tours and have enjoyed the daily surprises that each one has given us.In 2015 we signed up for the mystery tour. The clues mentioned 'a policeman's parade' and 'a salty beach' so we figured that we would be visiting Saskatchewan. Sure enough, when our plane landed in Regina we knew we had guessed correctly but didn't know what surprises awaited us.Although we travel to Saskatchewan each summer to visit family we don't venture far off our direct route to Unity. This tour would be different and we hoped to see much more of this province.We explored Regina, visited RCMP Heritage Centre, enjoyed a production of Mary Poppins at the Globe Theatre, walked through the tunnels of Moose Jaw and soaked in the geothermal mineral pool. At Manitou Beach we stood at the edge of 'The Dead Sea of Canada' and soaked in the mineral pool, marveled at the hoop dancers at Wanuskewin Heritage Park and enjoyed dinner on the Prairie Lily paddle wheeler on Saskatchewan River.On our last day before flying home we visited Solar Gardens, 'a purveyor of specialty succulants' while our make-your-own pizza was baking.It was a delightful tour, full of surprises and now it is featured by WGT as Surprising Saskatchewan.

We had the most amazing time with Wells Gray Tours!! My mom & I went Storm Watching at The Wickaninnish Inn which was a 6 day trip to the island and back. It was awesome!! The service from our driver and tour director was exceptional! Couldn't ask for a better experience! I highly recommend Wells Gray Tours!
