Hired Rian to reno my ensuite, install a new patio door and fix some insulation issues to qualify for the Greener Homes grant. Had an in-depth meeting with him initially where I outlined exactly what I wanted….he even took notes and asked for clarification. I was feeling hopeful. But what I ended up with was NOT what I had asked for and what I thought we had agreed upon. My other contractor working on the project had a similar experience with Rian….being told Rian would do something and then he did not do it. So I ended getting an ensuite I had to ‘settle for’ because he said it would be too expensive to make the changes (so that it would comply with my original request). Pretty disappointing to spend so much on a bathroom reno and not end up with what you wanted in the least. But the kicker was that his shoddy work did not qualify for any of the grant I had hoped for. For example….I told him the biggest air loss was my front door…I said if the door needs to be replaced, replace it….whatever you do, make sure there is no air loss there. Well, all he did was replace the weather stripping. You could still see the outside through the gap when he was done!!. I could go on….I realize from hearing others stories that the bar is set pretty low for contractors…..but I would certainly NOT recommend this business. For the cost of the project….it was a complete waste of money!

I hired parkland renovations last year to remodel my bathroom. they took care of the demo and had my bathroom looking like a Las Vegas hotel bathroom in no time. they where professional, efficient and tidy I was so impressed I hired them to replace some windows and doors in my place and again couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend these hard working guys

I’ve been working through a basement Reno at my home in Spruce Grove this winter, and ran into an issue with my basement window - My windows are stationary and could not be removed easily for my drywall pass through to finish the basement...This was a concern for me, as I have a very narrow stairwell going into the basement, and there is no other way to get the boards into the basement.I initially called Parkland Renovations to get a quote on removing my windows for me - Ryan ended up taking time out of his day to assist me in removing the windows for NO CHARGE.Initially this was a stressful scenario for me - As we are on a budget and don’t have extra funds for the project right now, but we were prepared to pay as our drywall had already been delivered.This was a huge weight off my shoulders for what started out as a stressful day - Thank you Ryan for providing a great service and for being genuine, and helping a guy out when he needed it.100% recommend Ryan and his crew for home renovations - 10/10 service.You’ll be hearing from me.Thank you!

Called for a quote said I was available any time he chose the time then didn’t show up I called 30 mins after he was late no answer left message he called back two hours later said he was still working apologized said pick any time tomorrow and he would be there we agreed on a time then once again no show no call no explanation so I give a 1 star for this reason alone as he never did any work for me I can’t speak to that I think the thing I was most disappointed about was the fact he lived on the same street as me but for some reason being so close just couldn’t find the time to show up for a quote or even bother to call don’t know why someone would’ve in business even they can’t even follow through on leads especially leads in your doorstep
