I recently went on a trip with a group of friends to sentry lodge as Covid would not allow for international travel.It was one of the best experiences and trips I’ve ever done. From the amazing lodge, the beautiful views, relaxing sauna and fun games, it was amazing.The best part by far was our guide, Dylan Chen. Not only is he a world class adventure guide, but a quality person who took care of everyone’s needs. His knowledge of the area, the trail selections to accommodate the group, his pace to keep everyone comfortable and together and thoughtfulness and attentiveness to every persons individuals needs and weakness made the trip fly by without any hickups.Don’t get me wrong, the hikes can be challenging but very worth it. Can’t wait to come do it again next year. It was unanimous amount the group that we would follow Dylan anywhere.

Fantastic ski adventure in sentry hut

The huts sit in some spectacular basins with amazing skiing above and below. Our hut keeper, Fliss, was super awesome, helpful, and knowledgable. They don't really seem to have their heli logistics rock solid as things seemed to change literally mid air and it's quite chaotic at the staging area. Also beware, someone in our group had their truck stolen out of the staging area parking lot and multiple others had their cars broken into. The staging area attendant tried to downplay the whole thing, saying it never happens however from what we heard from other guests, it sounded like it happens all the time. There is no security at the staging area parking at all. Despite those negative experiences, I would definitely go on another trip as the adventures made at the hut were ones for the books!

We were on a ski trip at Golden Alpine Holidays (GAH) in April 2023 guided by Neil W and Dylan C. One member of our group had a family issue.A machine from Alpine Helicopters was in the area.Golden Alpine, Alpine Heli and our guides reacted promptly, efficiently and with great calmness. Alpine Heli was at our location within 8 minutes of our call. Our group member was on the helicopter, and back at the lodge within 28 minutes.Shortly thereafter he was back at GAH staging and able to attend to the family emergency

Best AT Skiing that I have ever done. Great Lodges, Sentry is the King! Food is fantastic with Michelle and Issac is a fantastic Guide. The Esplanade Track is also unreal with the Wildflowers and super beautiful Lakes for cooling off in!DMack.

Stayed at the Sentry Lodge, had amazing snow and the lodge was incredible. Spent a week touring the surrounding mountains, best skiing I've ever done. Absolutely beautiful.

Recently completed the GAH traverse and it was phenomenal! GAH handled everything very well, including all of our heli flights, food drops and organization. Our Lodge custodian, Patrick, did an excellent job of showing us the ropes for each lodge and ensuring we had everything we needed.The skiing was amazing, and thanks to personal attention by the owner our schedule was actually adjusted to take advantage of the best end of season skiing in the north end of the tenure.This is clearly a well organized company that is passionate about providing the best experience to everyone and it really shows. I would reccomend it to anyone.
