I was travelling across Canada and booking as I went. Felt so lucky to have booked at the Blue Crescent Hotel in Grenfell, AB. The staff was friendly and inviting. The room was well appointed, roomy, clean and comfy. It felt safe and was super easy to access from the highway and I was able to get on and off the highway quickly to get back on my journey. Parking was easy and safe for vehicle. THANKS for a great nights sleep and the peace of mind!

Great stay at the Legacy! Amazing service from Rhonda, Billy and Pam throughout our stay. We unfortunately got caught in a bad winter storm travelling home from Ontario. If you’re bobtailing don’t park in the heavy truck parking, go and chat with them first and we were ok to park in the parking lot. Save your self getting stuck and needing a tow….they did discount our first night’s room rate which was so appreciated. Kat’s Arcade delivers right to the room and it was absolutely delicious!

An unbelievable nice hotel in small town Saskatchewan. The staff are incredible, rooms are brand new and clean. Grab and go breakfast was top notch. Greatly exceeded expectations for a small town hotel, and as nice as any big city hotel that would be twice the price.

We were passing through Grenfell when roads got so bad they were closed. The 3 ladies working were incredibly accommodating to everyone coming off the highway looking for a safe space to stay. Their room cleaning staff were spectacular getting rooms ready far earlier than normal check in time for everyone as well. The managing ladies even brought food to guests rooms that was leftover from a convention they had there that day ! Overall wonderful service and beautiful clean rooms !

This hotel is new, bright and really clean. Our room was really generous in size, it was nice to have a separate lounging area from the sleeping area. The staff were all extremely friendly and were really helpful when our travelling companions had a medical emergency. A huge shout out to Ryan. The grounds were beautifully maintained and provided many areas to explore and relax. We would definitely stay again if we areever in the area again.

Our stay started out great. We were very impressed with how new the hotel is and the layout. We stayed in room 120, which is a double Queen room and specifically pet friendly. Upon check in I let them know it was me, my hubby, and our dog. The pet friendly room included a pet towel for paws and a water bowl. We didn’t need two beds, but were told that was the only option for the pet friendly rooms. While choosing which bed to sleep in, I did a cleanliness check (pulled back the sheets and inspected them) the bed by the window had older stains on the sheets and the bed frame was broken at one end. The entire bed rocked back and forth like a teeter totter. We took pictures and I immediately let the front desk know that a bed was broken and it was not us and we will not be using it. I was told she was putting it in the notes and to not worry. The next morning, I went for breakfast and they asked my room number and said I hadn’t been charged for a pet and they had no record of us even having a dog here. I have the original receipt saying I paid for a pet friendly room. After talking about it, I returned to my room to find the receipt and there was a knock at the door. The lady I had been speaking with let me know that we won’t be charged the extra pet fee but needed to know when we had checked in as they will be checking the security footage, and a specific employee has made this mistake multiple times. I reiterated that I was very honest about having our dog with us, as we are traveling across Canada and are only staying in hotels that allow dogs. She asked what size and the breed. I started to feel uneasy as if this place isn’t that dog friendly. I went back to the front desk with my original receipt showing the charge for the pet friendly room and also showed the exact time of us checking in and the time stamp on the photos I took of the broken bed frame. They let me know I did nothing wrong and everything was okay. We still felt uneasy, so quickly packed up, checked out and left. I will be checking my credit card to see if we get charged for having a pet in a pet friendly room or charged for a broken bed that we did not use. I hope they keep their word and those charges don’t happen! At check out I brought my dog with me. They were very kind to him and said come back soon. So hopefully this was just a misunderstanding/miscommunication, and had nothing to do with breed/size. While he is a German shepherd, and I understand the stereotypes, he is well trained and well mannered, and as responsible pet owners we would never set him up for failure, or put him in a situation that would bring him harm.

I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone! I was on a business trip came into the hotel and stayed the night unexpectedly due to a bad storm. The staff (Rhonda & Deena - hope I'm spelling their names right) are absolutely phenomenal and made me feel so welcome and at home. They definitely care about their guests. The rooms are large and exceptionally clean and comfortable as well. I if I ever end up in this area again this is where I will be staying!
