No one sanitize in there no one had masks and no one social distance and when I walked in with a mask it was like I was from another world everyone just stared

Mouldy building. The food and menu is uninspiring. The restaurant manager is arrogant and rude considering her building is seemingly falling apart. The actual owners are half decent, but they seem to cater to the underbelly of the Souris area.If you need a hotel room that is modern, clean and safe, go up the street to the new Souris Hotel. It is privately owned and you can haggle for a room there. They might even give it to ya for 80 or 90 if that's all you have. Generally the rooms are about 100 a night there

Small rooms and my room key didn't lock. There are chains for the doors at night though. There is a bar in the same building and chicken chef is across the street.

The regular Barkeep is an absolute gem. They even serve locally made snacks for an area butcher. Has a certain rustic charm.

Nice to see gluten free options at cafe in small town Canada. The burgers were superlative as well as the fries

Friendly staff good food too the little pub is older but a good time with the right crowd will be back

Went there for the food at the new restaurant. It's called boss burgers and it was pretty good!

EDIT: It's now been a year since our visit and there still has been no contact from the owners, or anyone for that matter, regarding our stay and my fall in the shower.When my daughter and I checked in, we noticed the shower stall was dirty looking.I wore my flip flops in the shower the next morning and swished the shampoo around the floor to clean it. I took my shoes off and ended up falling and banging my hip on the floor. I had to put a towel down in order to stand up again.I told the girl working there what happened, showed my pictures and she said she would let the owner know what happened.We decided to stay another night and was not contacted by the owner.I sent an email explaining my fall and still no response. It's been 2 months since I fell.

We selected this hotel just to find a place to sleep and didn't have much expectations. We checked in late and also did a late request for an extra bed. No problems, service was good. We couldn't find anyone when we were checking out though. We just left the keys somewhere and gave them a call later. Must be a small town on Sunday thing.The hotel is in a good location in the town. It is across from chicken chef which is one of the few places I know of that serve breakfast in town. The swinging bridge and Victoria park are both less than 10 minutes walk away.Based on some signs, it seems they plan to open a restaurant on-site in the future (serving sushi it looks like).

Price - the man just lied to us! He saw that this was late evening and will not go to other place. In the site states 62.5$". He told us 68+tax. Waited a moment a then told us "+10$". He started to tell something about 2 beds or so. There was only me and my wife. So instead 62.5$
