I entered this place in severe distress one day seeking counselling.. I was taken to a councillor, I’ve seen this person 2 times, she’s cancelled on me 3-4 times already, how is someone to heal if a councillor can’t commit to being there for someone, or have a back councillor for someone to see.. this lady also says it’s her job and it’s not personal??? I take that as she’s just working for a paycheque instead of being concerned.. time to find another councillor now…Suggestion: employ at least 2-3 councillors, she can’t serve everyone n cancels too much,

I'll show pics later was wall to wall people later when u actually see the place. OK I'm back I'm here visiting for the next 2 days on standby for the free income tax clinic to prepare your individual taxes. If an appointment cancels I get in. I used to always use north end women's centre but now I'm situated in west side and omg do I love this part of town so much to see and do all around.Thank you west side women's you make great coffee

I love this place...whole team is amazing...especially halima, anamika,erika, and elby...they helped me soo much...All the team is sooo friendly...I have never seen this type of environment before. I am sooo thankfull to WCWRC

If you are planning to join this organization, run! I am disappointed how this place is being operated. And my tax paying money is helping this place run while there are women at this place abuse the system and this place. Same goes to their board of the directors of this so called place. Oh sure they like to empower women but there was no empowering, more like women feeding off the system and looking for a free ride! It's because of this place, I started to embrace the Conservatives in office and don't like to give handouts anymore.

I stumbled upon two wonderful employees helping out a community member in distress. They did an amazing job keeping the community member safe, relaxed and cared for until the ambulance was called. Firefighters were the first to respond and took over the scene. The firefighters then proceeded to demonstrate why the emergency response system needs to change and decolonize, as the trust between community member and responder deteriorated almost immediately.Keep up the amazing work you do in the community. What you’re doing is making a difference.
