We have discovered our new go to for Mexican food! Great atmosphere and gracious host! Food is very excellent and you can taste the care and love put into this food. Why watch about a food show on Netflix when you can go to Salt and Pepper and get the experience first hand? This is the kind of place that is part of a community, a place that helps give a community life and character. You need to eat and experience this place.March 17, 2022. So glad to go back to this place. The food is as fantastic as we remembered it. We brought friends there to celebrate a birthday and our friends were so impressed!February 24, 2023. We went Friday night and really enjoyed the entertainment! Food was really good as usual! We are sorry we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the entertainment.

This place has gone downhill. Guacamole looked and tasted like store bought preserved guac. Rice tasted like uncle Ben's. Meat was pretty good but it was wrapped in an over dry corn tortilla and smothered in cheese. Anything can taste or look good if you smother it in cheese. Fast food quality at restaurant prices.And their bathroom was not clean.

The restaurant has good facilities, decorations, good music, and clean bathrooms. The waitress who served us was very friendly. But the food was not fresh, the sauces did not taste good, the cumin flavor was predominant, and the onion flavor was very intense. The chocolate dessert was not fresh and did not taste like chocolate. The drink I chose was a Margarita. It had no liquor and was too sweet. I did not like it.

We had lunch there a few days ago. It was delicious! There was lots of room so getting a good seat wasn't a problem. Our server was very nice. She didn't hover and gave us lots of time to visit and order when we were ready. The food was excellent. I had the Quesadillas, and my sister and her hubby both had Enchiladas. They also liked their dishes but were surprised they were quite spicy (a little heads up).The prices were reasonable too! It's definitely worth the trip out of downtown to have some great Mexican food!

Got the meal for two barbacoa option on Skip and have to say it was one of the best take outs we've had. Packaged well to keep everything clean and drip free and it was absolutely delicious. We loved every bite and will have to visit the location in person soon.

I looove this place! The tacos are amazing and the pitchers of margaritas are fantastic. They also have live music on Friday and Saturday nights (I believe those are the days), which creates a wonderful atmosphere. On a warm day, there is also the option to sit outside on the patio.

What a nice Mexican Restaurant hidden in Bowness. Corona, chips and salsa accompanied with burritos brisket. Ohhh and I forgot to mention wonderful live music playing and such a lovely stuff working in there! There is no reason for me to not to come back. Thank you so much for a great dining experience and we will be back again!

Great service and wonderful ambienceFood is fast and delicious.Dinner for 2 is recommended.Not your most traditional tacos out there but close enough. Much better than any chain.

Family owned restaurant for multiple generations. Food and service are excellent. We even got live entertainment on a Saturday evening. Highly recommended.
