How to ruin a veterinary clinic: sell to Vetstrategy. All they care about is the annual exam - easy cash.Terrible hospital policies that leave patients suffering.

This company is absolutely scam. We did some emergency service call for them and they said they will pay us. And guess what? There is no one answering the phone calls because their phone number is fake. No one responds your email. You will get thousands of fake automated emails and messages. They are 100% scamI wish I checked them on Google as I can see there are lots of low rates reviews here

I have been an animal technologist for 25 years and the wage at these clinics is horrific. They have about 20 ads just on Vancouver island for a technician and then they wonder why they can’t find any? Greedy company.

This company has ruined perfectly good vet clinics under their management. They have hired staff who are completely incompetent. I have reported all my video and audio recordings to The College of Veterinarians of Ontario. I have also submitted evidence of money scams done on invoices to the CRA as the vet clinic I attended tried to ask for cash payments and not provide invoices. I tried to contact vet strategy several times with no response from them.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM ANY VET CLINIC BOUGHT BY THESE PEOPLE.

After working with Vet Strategy for almost 2 years, I will honestly say it’s the worst company I have ever worked for and I will NEVER work for another veterinary corporation. They honestly just want clients money, do not care for their staff, or clients and their policies are outrageous. I am incredibly happy to have resigned from a Vet Strategy owned clinic. If you have a strong passion for animals and truly care, do not work here. The company will ruin you. Vet strategy, do not bother commenting back to “help discuss this further” I will not reply as I have tried multiple resources to “fix” things and nothing has or will ever be resolved.

Ever since VetStrategy purchased the vet hospital that our beloved canine receives care, every aspect of the business has declined. Price increases in care and products. Decreased availability and poor professionalism are now the trademarks of this once terrific vet clinic.

This company owns the Walker road animal hospital and this is my review: My mom's dog was attacked by an animal arrived at 3pm. Quick triage to a room but spent 4hours in the exam room with a dog dying before my eyes. 1800$ spent to do a surgery and was told to go home and they will call when it's done. 3:30am phone call to my mom that her pup had passed away before they even attempted the surgery and told my mom they were too busy to do it. How is this humane??? This poor pup died in a cage because you were too busy to do what you said you were going to do. What my mom paid ahead of time for you to do. I am shocked that this is the outcome and wished he could have died in her arms if you were just going to neglect him. Very disappointed in this animal hospital and wish I never have to use this place again.

Today we took our Border Collie to our vet in Renfrew Ontario for her annual exam and vaccine (Leptospirosis). Last year the cost for both the exam and vaccine was $116.00 plus tax. This year the cost for the exact same exam and vaccine was $180 plus tax. That is a 65% increase over last year! What is worse, 2 years ago we paid $65 plus tax for the exam and $25 plus tax for the vaccine, do you see a greedy pattern? The owner of our vet clinic is VetStrategy. Absolutely disgusting! Gouging at its absolute worst! Stay away from vets that are owned by this company!

Very disappointed with this corporation. When our vet clinic was sold to VS a few years ago, it was a hard pill to swallow. We loved our Vet and all the staff.Slowly over time our Vet retired, but we continued to do business with this clinic because the staff we know and loved where all still there and we were all like family.Over time our Vets & staff slowly left to other clinics NOT OWNED BY VS, owned private, which was a concern and a red flag.We hung on and still continued to do business with our clinic because of the awesome office Manager who was the glue to this clinic and kept things running smooth. Now our office manager is leaving?Come to find out, VS who promoted themselves as a Proud" Canadian company convincing Vets to sell their clinics to VS to help Vets manage their clinics

Do yourself a favour and go to a vet clinic not owned by VS. They have taken over most of the vet clinics in the area where I live and it shows. Today I went to the emergency clinic close by to get porcupine quills removed for one of my dog - and to the other emergency clinic (privately owned - 1 hour away) for my other dog (because the one closer to me was stupidly expensive). $840 at the VS clinic and $375 at the other (for similar size dog and simple quill removal with sedation and reversal). I have friends that have worked with VS clinics and it’s not a good company to work for. Stop supporting them! They are only in it for the money and the control.
