Always happy coming out of smart styles! Amanda does such a great job my whole family has started going to see her. Even with having no clue how to describe what I’m looking for she always gets it right from my vague descriptions. Very talented and fun to talk with, I still make the drive from out of town for the service.

Melinda did an excellent job! I had product in my hair coming in and she took the time to wash it out and gave me a better haircut at a better price than the stylist I've gone to in the past. Thanks Melinda and I'll definitely be back and recommend you to friends!

I am late posting this review, I had my hair cut in August 2022 from someone and had to grow hair for 2months and then asked Melinda to correct my spoiled haircut and she did just well. 5 star for her skills.Update: the store is closed at 335 Farmers market. But she works at smart style in Listowel, ON.

I have been coming to Amanda for my hair and brows for years! She is the only one I trust to touch my hair. She has helped my hair become so healthy and long from years of bleach and box dyes. So friendly and I always look forward to spending some time in her chair! Highly recommend!

Does anyone know where Amanda has gone since the St. Jacobs store closed at Walmart. She always did a great job on my daughter’s hair.

My experience with this Salon was pathetic. I went there for hair highlighting. Styler there did not pay any attention to color choice. She simply said I know what your community like and she made me look like 10 to 15 year older than my age. It looks like as I have applied henna on my hair. I had to go to another salon to get that mess fixed, created by this Salon because the contact email and phone number they share in replies of reviews are not helpful at all. No one contacted me when I sent a mail to them. They least bother about the damage they caused. I paid 110 to them so that they can ruin my hair. Please don’t go there for hair colour or highlights.

Literally the worst experience we’ve ever had at a hair salon. My fiancé got his hair cut for our engagement pictures tomorrow, and it was so awful, he couldn’t even hide it with a hat. His hair looked like a terribly hacked bowl cut when he asked for a simple hair cut. I have been doing the same hair cut for two years now while we’ve been quarantined, and I’ve done a way better job with no experience and $20 clippers. We had to book an emergency appointment elsewhere to get his hair so he at least wouldn’t be humiliated leaving the house. We will never be back again, I can promise you that.

I have been booking haircuts with Amanda for a while now, she is absolutely amazing. Very friendly, and won't disappoint. Always walk out with a fresh look that will turn heads.

Ellen has always done a very nice job on my hair. She has been cutting my hair for years! Literally I see her once yearly and my cut and hair are healthy and nice until I return. I frequently have compliments on my hair and everyone asks who does it for me. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. Her other clients are always treated very highly and the salon is pristine.
