A wonderful place to ride! Both Sonja and Uwe are experienced and talented riders and teachers. They prioritize safety for both you and the horses at all times and are a wealth of information on all things horse (and then some!). Highly recommend!

The horses and staff are amazing and very welcoming friendly place to be . Instruction is suited to the person.

This is hands down the best horse riding school in Ottawa, if you are looking for a non-competitive environment where you immediately feel part of the family. I especially love that there's so many different activities, you can have regular lessons, go for a ride in the woods, do archery or voltige. Love it here.

I joint Uwe and Sonia this spring and has been an extraordinary experience. I'm taking horseback archery and it has been an exceptional adventure in each step, they are very professional, skillful and experienced, both share their knowledge and passion about horses, archery and history, personally I used to be Olympic Archer and when I discovered this, my perspective changed completely, I felt in deeper love with archery than I already used to be.Will update soon with more cool photos this reviewStrongly recommended

We participated in a Mounted Archery program and our time at Horses of the Sun was a game changer for us. An incredible weekend with amazing people and new experiences. We highly recommend this facility to everyone.

Horses of the sun is a very calming easy going fun riding school its so beautiful and the nature is just very soothing , horses of the sun is the best of the best to learn to ride and become knowledgeable about horses and theres always so many wonderful activities and the horses are all very amazing teachers and are extremely intelligent. I love this riding school , the horses and Sonja and Uwe , i finally found my horse family and i plan to be with them for many many many years to come .
