Derek was very responsive and helpful preparing my site to pour foundation and installing drain lines / electrical conduit.

I had Derek come out to do the dirt work in prep for a detached shop. Job involved extending a driveway, creating a turnaround apron, building pad prep, along with a curtain drain and outflow. On initial visit we discussed the job and made plans. He arrived on time at start date ready to work. Around the second day, Derek discovered an unforeseen issue and phoned me right away to visit the site and provide input on how I’d like him to proceed. I appreciated the awareness and upfront approach. Several other times we were presented with some decisions to make (every project always has stuff pop up), but we worked collaboratively to discuss options, weigh pros/cons, then make a informed decision. In the end, I got a perfect site that’s useable as is and ready for the next phases of construction.I should also note that Derek was very honest and communicative about everything. That, combined with his trade skills, gave me peace that I hired the right guy on the job.

Had my old shop torn down and removed. Did all the clean up and prepped for new building. Finished sight gravel and ditchwork on new shop. Excellent work. I highly recommend!

After Derek worked on the excavation of the foundation for my new house, I hired him to build some block retaining walls and steps to my garden. He did a nice job and I would hire him again. I appreciated his dedication, hard work and especially his creative problem solving. Derek was always pleasant and took on new tasks as they came up. Derek did a large excavation project for us that turned out beautifully. Additionally, we had him and his crew do a variety of concrete work. He was always responsive, easy to work with, proactive with suggestions, and a solid professional.We will definitely use him again!
