Boulangerie Pâtisserie La Conca D'oro

Are you kidding me?! My parents brought us this massive lobster tail and oh my goodness…it was insane. I’ve had Italian pastries from nearly every Italian bakery on this island throughout my life, but boy oh boy, La Conca D’Oro does NOT mess around. Our lobster tail was absolutely filled to brim with ricotta and nearly BURSTING at the seams. I mean it weighed like 5 pounds!! And the zeppoli are ultra filled and delicious just the same. Recommend for sure——Update 03/25/23Tried their pizza and prosciutto/capicollo/salami sandwich…for 6.99 the sandwiches are an excellent lunch option. Obviously you’ll have this alongside one of their baked goods..try the amaretti cookies! Melt in your mouth goodness. Beautiful. 10/10.

It might be that my expectations were to high for this bakery. The composition of the cakes/desserts are basically the same. I ordered a set of six via Ubereats and three things in the box were made of custard (the exact same taste) only difference is that one has strawberries on top the other has pastries as the base. The other two were full of cream. There was a chocolate cake and I actually realized that they use the cake layer in another custard raspberries mousse. Everything tastes so similar, never wanna have them again, doesn’t worth $30

I ordered through uber for the very first time, they have good vegetarian options, tasting delicious, the packaging for an uber order is astoundingly beautiful. The food is fresh. Will visit in person as well

This is one of my favorite bakeries in Montreal, their chocolate cake is very good, I've had their meat pies and they're good too, so you can have sweet and salty

Amazing choice, hard to pick!The zeppole are in season are light and fluffy. Tons of pizza / sandwich choices too. Light and airy space

Loved the Italian cake, perfect for fathers day ✨

Recently referred two friends of mine here at Conca and I was happy to refer them. The first friend was for zeppole. Her comment was that they were too small.The second friend picked up a strawberry shortcake done for a certain amount of people. Her comment was:The cake was small for the price she paid. It wasn’t a standard size but made specifically for the number of guests attending. So not worth what she paid for.The other comment was that it was way too sweet.So at this point I will not be referring anybody else that I know so as to not to take a chance if they won’t be pleased. At this point it makes me think twice if I shall get anything there such as a cake.
