Gabe was wonderful to work with. He was patient, kind and professional in all interactions with us, especially when we had a hard time making design decisions. He was thorough and always helpful.

We initially chose Waterloo Handyman Services based on the professional quality of their website, and the other reviews we read. We were not disappointed. We wanted to repair our large deck without spending too much. Gabe understood our needs and gave us a fair quote, which we accepted. He pressured washed the whole surface, include all the railings and lattice, and then replaced boards where necessary, securing other loose ones. After removing boards from the stairs, we realized they were too rotten to simply repair. Gabe provided us with a separate quote with three reasonable options. He executed the option we chose within two days. His work was exactly what we had in mind. He is friendly, knowledgable, and thorough.

Gabe saw we had a “dynamic” situation and clearly outlined the various possible actions we’d require and confirmed we understood our options. The work was done to our satisfaction with all the usual positive adjectives: courteously, efficiently, tidily. We will be looking to hire Gabe for future projects.

Gabriel built a room in our basement and remodelled a washroom (added shower, changed vanity, flooring and did lots of drywall work). He's very responsive, so it was easy communicate with him. Fair price and good quality. I would recommend his company to anyone.

I hired Waterloo Handyman to install new interior doors and baseboard/casing upstairs.From start to finish their customer service was fantastic. From communicating before and during the job, to checking in, to explaining home repairs things, Gabe was great. He was flexible with timing and his work was excellent. He did the job very well and was professional. I would not hesitate to hire him again (in fact I will for some bathroom work soon!)

I hired Gabe to do a window/door cut-out on my house (with some minor demolition). Not only was he qualified for the job (many handymen aren't), but he was able to get it scheduled very quickly, which is rare these days. He worked well with my mason, too, as they had to sync up their schedules. He was very thorough with his communication as we went through the project together.I highly recommend Gabe and would definitely hire him again.

Gabriel did a complete bathroom renovation requiring intricate tile work. I now have an updated beautiful bathroom from what was a tired, old builder grade space which was falling apart. He was methodical and always offered solutions to potential issues. He also spotted some serious structural trouble that I wouldn’t have known if he didn’t show me. He is an excellent communicator and worked hard to ensure the project was done with quality. He always gave a projection of his timing so that I was well informed of the scope of work involved and the time required to complete. He is very responsive and reliable. Gabriel is excellent at what he does. We only had a 1/2 day project for him but he was very professional and friendly and completed our project with expertise. He offered great advice for getting the best results and I'm very happy with the outcome. This is the first time we've worked with Gabriel but I get the impression he can do almost anything so we will definitely be calling him again for future house projects.
