Pathway to Canada Immigration

I have only good things to say about Pathway to Canada. They are transparent and open, hardworking, quick and communicative, supportive and reassuring throughout the entire process. If you have concerns, they will address them quickly and thoughtfully and help you to feel fully seen and supported through what can often be a difficult process and waiting period. You get to know them personally - we specifically worked with Shawna and Evelina - and they will have open brainstorming discussions with you to come up with a plan that is best suited for your situation / most likely to be approved. The whole thing felt quite personal as I actually happened to meet Shawna's parents, just chatting with strangers in a public space, who ended up telling me about their daughter's services right at a time when I needed them. I have some real warmth, appreciation and love for both of these women after this experience! They supported me in bringing my husband (from Uganda) to Canada as a PR to be with myself and our young son, in the middle of Covid no less, and the whole process from application submission to him arriving took less than 8 months. We were sooo lucky and grateful, and I couldn't be more thankful for them and the services they offer. Honestly, I work in an immigration office myself (though I provide settlement services rather than immigration advice) and wondered whether or not it would be truly helpful to hire someone to work on our file, but I don't have an ounce of regret. We will 100% be in touch with them in the future if we are in need of any further help. Highly, highly recommend. <3

We were going to originally go with a different company but Shawna at pathways convinced us to go with them. Sadly I think in years past they may have done a good job but our experience was completely different. The couple of different counsellors we had were New and messed up the applications. We tried to reach Shawna but she is never there and when you did make an appointment with her she missed the appointments Without letting you know. What should’ve taken three months took us eight months. If you do use this service make sure you have Shawnas direct line as well as know exactly what you are supposed to pay. They will sneak extra charges in. Sadly once you begin the process they have you. We would definitely use a different company next time.

My file has been left without treatment or answers since January 2023. No answer on any emails or phone calls since the new ownership. Never received the new representative form I was supposed to get since December 2022.A complaint to CICC and IRCC is going to be filled by May 27th if no answer is received to the email sent May 22.

Owner name is ambuj from dubai. Spoke to him once for my friend but wasn’t impressed. Shop around for immigration these days.

I used them 4 years ago. Completely messed up our application. Finally dumped them. Shawn didn’t want to pay us back any of our money, told her I would file a claim in small claims court, then she reversed her decision and returned some.Ended up getting a private girl, everything went flawless after. Stay away!!!Maybe there specially is for temporary workers coming to Canada.The girl that we were appointed to work on our claim had no idea what she was doing.The private’s girl we used after couldn’t believe everything she messed up after reviewing the mess she did. I’m Canadian, wife was from Israel. She put me down has I was from Israel, sent our application to the consulate in Israel under my name.Once again go to a smaller or private company, stay away if you want to get done properly….good luck

We received an email November 25m 2022 from the owner Shawna advising us she sold the company in June 2022 and to contact the new owners for any information on ongoing files. This complete neglect and disrespect for clients was evident throughout the entire work permit process for us. Hoping the new owners turn the company around.

This company is run by excellent people who have always been there to help me with any questions and issues I have had. They are well versed in all the legal aspects and always had answers for everything. They are willing to go far beyond what they need to do. This was proved beyond a doubt when the pandemic caught me outside Canada without my permanent residence process completed. They helped me to work with Immigration to get back into the country and even found a wonderful hotel near my parents' home where i could spend my 15 day quarantine. Throughout the process, the pandemic, and numerous delays, they kept me up-to-date on everything that was happening. And now I am very happy to say that I have now received approval of my Permanent Residence in Canada. i am sure that without them, this would have been a much longer and more troubled process. Thanks to each for their sincere and continued support.

All potential applicants find details about this company before application. Find about who owns the company. No mention of owners on their website. The owners moved from middle east country to start this company only 2 years ago. How can they be experienced immigration consultants!

Please file a complaint against Shawna Hubscher with The College of Immigration & Citizenship Consultants if you had money stolen from you like I did for services not rendered. She's now advising at Link Canada Immigration" in Calgary. This woman needs her license taken away and has scammed people out of thousands of dollars before selling this business."

Shawna convinced our organization to steer away from another organization because they could both apply for, and fill LMIA's. We used them for 15 LMIA's and they filled one. They charged in advanced for services not rendered, and did not return the funds despite admitting in writing they had over billed. We gave them 6 months to change course, but they kept changing their mind, the rules and their obligations. They dropped workers that they were already in progress with, leaving them high and dry. I strongly urge folks to stay away from this business. I wish we had been warned, and further, I wish I didn't give the second chance to rectify when it was blamed on 'problematic staff'.
