I recently waited in line for 45 minutes to get a scoop of ice cream for my friend's birthday at this popular place. The ice cream was fine, and the price was quite affordable. However, I don't think I would be willing to endure such a long wait again.The ambiance at the location was unique, with narrow passageways lined by tall brick walls, which added to the authenticity of the experience.

If you've read the reviews you know the ice cream is excellent. But almost as impressive is the entry to the Whyte Avenue location. You walk into an alley with a high brick wall that would serve as the perfect spot for Peter Parker to test out his new Spidey powers. The surprisingly long line coupled with the confined quarters gives both opportunity and atmosphere to make a new best friend. When waiting to get in is part of the experience rather than an obstacle to endure, you know you have a winner.

A great dessert to have in any season. I tried the Rose Lychee flavour in February and it was amazing, especially the cone! It's great that they let you sample the interesting flavours before you commit to one.

I love this place! Every time I’m here there’s a line up but it’s worth it. The ice cream is rice in flavor, tasty and cream. Sometimes they have “wired” flavors and I usually like to try

Perfect spot for an evening ice-cream.We got the flight, 4 flavours for $10.Chocolate Lava Cake.Kentucky Bourbon Pie.Ace Coffee & Cocoa Nib.Marcona Almond & Ganache.As always the flavours are delicious!There is always a lineup.

It's about the experience as much as it is the ice cream! A warm and inviting hallway (visually) to stand in while waiting. A great variety of unique flavours and combinations. The waffle cones, not too sweet and very delectable. Would definitely come back again (and take a pint home with me if I wasn't visiting from Atlantic Canada)!

Nice to see a favourite make its way up to Edmonton. The typical friendliness and wonderful seasonal flavours I’ve come to expect from Made By Marcus. Located in an alley entrance on Whyte Ave, I walked right by it the first go around. Walking down a nicely lit and clean alley and you arrive to busy space with bench seating outdoors for customers to enjoy their treats.
