I saw this company had good reviews on google so I hired them to complete a few tasks for me. Tasks included assembly of furniture, hanging frames on walls, installing and setting up starlink satellite internet on my roof and fishing the cable inside the home. We agreed to all items and price in writing.He showed up late, had a bad attitude throughout (while hanging frames in one room, I asked him if he had any suggestions on the spacing, he dismissively said he has no opinions), and didn’t bring a ladder to install the satellite on the roof. From the beginning, I told him the satellite is the most important task b/c internet has really become a necessity, but he shrugged of my comment and left it for the end. Once he completed the other tasks, he started making excuses why he cant complete the satellite roof install. He said he doesnt have a ladder (despite him knowing before arriving on site that he would need one). He said he would have to drive an hour away to bring a ladder but he doesn’t have time for that. He also said he doesn’t feel comfortable doing the task anymore. But to my surprise, he still wanted full payment. He got pretty passive aggressive with me (he’s a big guy) so we agreed on a small reduction in the original price and I paid him in full. Now I have to find someone to come out for this one job, will end up paying more and it will take more of my time to coordinate this - not to mention not having internet this whole time. Based off my experience, I would not recommend this company.

If you’re looking for a contractor who will treat your home like their own, look no further.Westover Services was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. The estimate process was the best I’ve experienced. Several local contractors didn’t respond to inquiries or treated us like a number in a stack of jobs they weren’t interested in booking. Local contractors aren’t terribly interested in “small” jobs like modest interior renovation with so many new build contracts available. Jesse responded quickly and made me feel like a valued customer before anything was even booked. The estimate process itself was night and day from other recent experiences. Contractors have so many estimates to do in a day that they sometimes don’t listen to what you are asking for, leading to issues down the road. This was not the case with Jesse. Even though he had other quotes to get to, he did not rush the process, listened intently, and followed up with a quote precisely as promised. That kind of customer service is almost non-existent these days. Our job was structural, so we had an engineer involved. Jesse liaised with the engineer throughout the process to ensure everything was done correctly. Jesse and his team worked very quickly and efficiently. They were always here when they said they would be and kept us updated on their progress and estimated timeline. When the scope of the job changed, Jesse explained it in detail and asked for approval of increased costs before the work started. Any time we had an issue or question, Jesse made time for us. When a minor problem was discovered after completion, Jesse returned and fixed it as quickly as possible – no questions asked, no excuses – he simply made it right. Whatever job you’re looking to have done, you will not regret hiring Jesse. I can confidently say that the only contracting company we will call in the future is Westover Services.

Had Westover do a couple jobs so far… excellent quality and prompt service for when things come up unexpectedly… I plan to use them more for future home projects

Jesse helped us bring our kitchen reno from a concept to a reality. After having a difficult time with a prior tile install Jesse came in a absolutely provided a courteous, professional, and meticulous service. Customer service first and always responded and helped calm our nerves. The finished product was better than we could’ve hoped for. I will recommend Jesse to anyone looking to complete Reno’s inside their home. If I could give home 10 stars I would.

Jesse has done nice work for me on several occasions. The most recent was a quick, efficient and accurate installation of a drop ceiling in a partial basement Reno. He's responsive

Jesse responded right away and helped us complete a bath enclosure project including prep and tiling. The results were great, it happened fast and Jesse is such a pleasure to work with. He is an excellent communicator who is focused on customer care and finding solutions that work. Call Jesse first!

Westover's New or Do-Over's Contracting has just completed 3 full days of renovations to our home and my wife and I are very pleased with the work that was completed. Jesse, his brother Joe, and their crew were very professional and were able to take on various different projects including windows, flooring, carpentry, etc. They were on time every day and were able to complete their work in a highly professional and efficient manner. Frances and I plan on using Jesse and his team again in the future and highly recommend the services of his team. Thanks again guys. Great work!

Jesse came to our home to cut our granite counter top to fit our new kitchen. He showed up promptly and had the work done in no time. Jesse is one of the only contractors in Owen Sound who has a reliable and consistant work ethic and carries himself professionally. We really appreciate him because he's also family oriented and caring on top of being a skilled worker. Very happy with the results and will be calling Jesse again in the future.

Jesse and his carpenter did a fabulous job redoing both decks and installing new siding on our cottage at Sauble Beach. He was responsive, courteous and professional. The work they did was excellent and I highly recommend him.

Jesse at Westover Services was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. I don’t know what else you need to know – that’s as good as it gets! But please don’t call him because he will be our go-to contractor from now on.
