Wonderful selection of goodies to select from, both in the freezer and the display cases. The lunch menu is smal but everything I've tried has been excellent, made with fresh ingredients like crisp veggies and the homemade bread.

Exactly what I hoped for, had the potato bacon soup. It was great and the staff were accommodating despite us arriving shortly before close. The wide plank floors and radiators really take you back. I would love to return here. Very clean.

Randomly decided to stop over in Sackville on our way to Halifax from New Brunswick, and we were delighted to find something open on the weekend. This place is a real experience! You can tour the former president’s house, and then eat some delicious tasting food and drink some kombucha on tap. I never felt more hipster!

Revolutionary desserts and pastries here - didn't know what expectations to come with, but fantastic. We got the raspberry cheesecake - very delicate, not too sweet, the raspberry came through perfectly. Probably a top 3 cheesecake ever!

Lovely spot! Had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and a lemonade, which were both delicious. Very fresh, and great flavor.

We enjoyed delicious coffee and incredibly fresh baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. There’s a cute little gift shop too. If you are in Sackville, stop in. We have been in 3 or 4 times now. The man preparing the coffee isn’t exactly friendly, which is always disappointing, but I guess we all have bad days…

This place was awesome and surpassed expectations. With the mansion that it's run out of I would have expected them to charge more than anywhere else in town for food. Not only was my first impression with the food very positive, but it was also no more expensive than nearby establishments being run out of a dank hole in the wall.Love the feel of the building. Very homey for somewhere so fancy.Edit: My only complaint is that the menu prices weren't listed, only the baked goods. This is something that could really ruin someone's day. While my soup was a reasonable price, and I was personally relieved that it wasn't too much, I've heard others mentioned that they were shocked by the price once it was time to pay. This isn't a rich area, so this is bound to turn off many of the locals who can barely afford to eat out, let alone attend potentially expensive restaurants.

My lovely wife Pat and I were just traveling through Sackville this one afternoon. Fortunately, we stopped at this bakery, but unfortunately, we missed their hotmeals time of day. Only their light snacks and drinks were open to us.Pat chose one of their tea options while I requested one of their hot chocolate drinks. While Pat waited, I used their bathroom on the main floor. I was delighted with their pleasantly comphy bathroom setup. That's always a good sign. While I was occupied, Pat was able to surprise me with a couple of delicious treats once we were back in our car, while she took pleasure in eating a selection of couscous salad. While in this old building, it pleased me to see an old-world charm about the interior. Everything appeared very well kept. I do enjoy seeing real wood being used. I'm old school. Both Pat and I look forward to returning to this fine establishment next time we are in town.We were made to feel welcome, even though we hit them close to closing time.
