Auberge de La Fontaine
We loved out stay at Auberge de la Fontaine. The staff is amazing and super helpful. The location is amazing, right across from a lively park and less than 5 min walk from the main stretch of Rue St. Denis and Mont Royal Ave. So many amazing restaurants, every cuisine imaginable within walkable distance. Our room had a balcony and an amazing view of the park. I also had a chance to catchup with the manager Tarik who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Pros: reasonable price, park across the street is nice, plenty of restaurants within 10 min walk, large room and bathroomCon: only 3 free parking spots otherwise paid street paiding (machine to pay is a couple blocks up the rue rachel), not really walking distance to some local attractions, no elevator, steps outside did not seem safe, beds are hard, breakfast is additional fee, rooms do not have individual thermostat the hotel controls the temp

Ideal place to stay for a visit to Montréal — just a couple of blocks away from tons of restaurants, plus right across the street from Parc La Fontaine. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Auberge de La Fontaine
We stayed in a modest room, but the Auberge offers a variety. Our room was comfortable and simple. What the hotel lacks in amenities it more than makes up for in friendly, caring and personable service. The location is excellent, being across the street from a lovely park and in an interesting neighborhood. It is not a touristy area and not close to the tourist district, which offers a more authentic sense of Montreal.

Incredible experience! The staff were super accommodating and nice, rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the location is excellent. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. 10/10

Auberge de La Fontaine
Had a great stay at Auberge de la Fontaine. Staff are friendly, rooms are well-kept, and location is prime. One thing to note however, is that although others mentioned free breakfast, it is not free. The check-in instructions state that a fee may apply, but I was still surprised to see a $12/day charge for the times I ate breakfast. Nevertheless, I would return again :)

Auberge de La Fontaine
Wonderful Auberge in a great part of Montreal - walking distance to everything you could need or want - and right across the street from one of the nicest parks in city. Lovely room - very clean. The staff is amazing. I left my e-reader behind by mistake and they were very helpful in getting it to my friend. Highly recommend.
