Good food and service but I rarely visit; I cannot justify paying $30-40 for a single meal and drink very often.

Captain's Cabin Neighbourhood Pub
This place was a bit disappointing. Firstly I ordered Spaghetti with Meat Sauce... it was cold and I couldn't eat much of it ... plus I even had to pay a buck extra to get a bit of shredded Parmesan cheese for the Spaghetti I ordered. I expect any place serving pasta dishes to include the Parmesan FREE as a given. Then they only have ONE RED WINE it's a bad Chardonnay and ONE White Wine which I didn't try. Lastly they have the music so low you can't hear it. Note the waitress was nice and did okay.

We went there for dinner after a few years of avoiding it. We had Reubens and salads. Greek and Caesar. Great service and the food was very tasty. We will return.

The dreaded frozen triangle. We had the fish and chips as it was across the street after a day of fishing. I was shocked there were no pictures of the fish and chips so we decided to try it out. Oh my was I not expecting to the get the dreaded frozen triangle as I commonly see in landlocked provinces. The fish was obviously frozen then dipped in batter then fried. What you get is this multitude of textures. Cold fish in the core, the warm layer, then the chewy layer followed by the thin layer of raw batter. Then finally the overcooked shell like batter. The fries were so salty but luckily I was a few beer in. Even half cut the fish was not good.

One of my absolute favorite places in the entire lower mainland to either play, or see a show. And that is because of both the staff, and the patrons. Just such a great atmosphere. The architecture is pretty cool too!

Smells like urinal cakes. . So dirty and run down but they want 22 for a beef dip.. Generic pop is disgusting. Glasses are plastic. And if u want something deep fried or microwave. I'd still pass on this kitchen. The best thing for this badly managed dump is for it to roll over and die. Its obviously not cared for.
