Bob and Margaret are doing a great job. Very friendly people. The location is awesome. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Has a private beach and kayak, canoe and paddle boats are available to rent in a daily and half day basis. Good place to spend your vacation.

Well run camp-resort. Basic, but well-equipped, clean and comfortable cabins in a lovely location. Been there twice now and am looking forward to going back. Big thank you to Graham & Jhoana for being great hosts!

Beautifully situated on Golden Lake, the campground provides everything for a lovely stay - sandy beach, kayaks, a small playground and all amenities. Exceptionally tidy and clean. The nearby trails are good for hiking and biking. Graham, thank you for your hospitality!

Just returned from an amazing anniversary weekend getaway to Bonnechere Lodge. Cabin #1 was very clean and exceeded our expectations. We quickly settled in and had an amazing stay. Our hosts Bob and Margaret Thomas instantly made us feel at home, and we were invited to an evening fireside gathering steps away from beautiful Golden Lake. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel comfortable and make meals both inside (on one rainy day) and outside on the BBQ. Before we left we had already secured our next booking with them. This looks like it will be an annual retreat for us. So relaxing.Go, you won’t regret it.

The family guests for whom I booked said Bonnechere Lodge was immaculate and well-cared for. Owner Graham was so helpful with changes we had to make to our booking due to COVID. The recent upgrades are beautiful and the beach is lovely.

We have a seasonal campsite at Bonnechere Lodge & absolutely love it! Graham & Jhoana keep the park so clean and beautiful. The beach is sandy and great for swimming as there are no weeds for quite a distance out from shore. The boat launch & docks make getting out on the water so easy - and they have equipment available to rent, if you don't have your own boat/kayak/canoe, etc. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of peaceful, yet there are others around to socialize with. Our park tends to be fairly quiet and we enjoy all the wildlife sounds heard throughout the day - loons, herons, bullfrogs, ducks... the list goes on. Highly recommend staying at Bonnechere Lodge - it is a beautiful spot with wonderful people. My only complaint is that I have to come home at the end of the season.

We had a great experience here. The cottage and all the facilities is what you would ask for near a beautiful lake. Graham (the owner) was very kind and accommodating.

A wonderful place to vacation locally with your family. They had everything accessible - canoes, boats, paddleboards, sports (volleyball, badminton, croquette), lawn games, beach to swim. We'll be going back again, for sure!

Under new owners!! Improved service above the last, cleanliness, better better better! 5+++... Perfect rustic resort for adults and families... The beach is beyond, the view is incredible. Say hi to Bob for us!! Just look at the pics I took!

We have been annual visitors for many years. We rent all the cottages each year for our group. We love everything about Bonnechere. The cottages are clean and the property is beautiful. The new owners are super friendly and very helpful.Can't say enough good things about the whole experience. Thanks very much Bob & Margaret for a great time.
