This is the best restaurant in Hamilton!!! I visit it regularly since the summer of 2018, and it never disappointed me.Kristine and Claudio always make you feel like home. This place is cozy and full of warmth. It has a unique, nostalgic atmosphere, lots of vintage photographs, an elegant fireplace, and sophisticated music. The waiters provide first-rate service, making guests feel like aristocrats.The food is HEAVENLY!!! The salmon is my personal favorite (thank you, Chef Kristine, I will always remember how you prepared it for me in the middle of a snowstorm ❤️).In conclusion, I highly recommend this place to everyone who likes delicious Italian cuisine and relaxed, welcoming ambiance of a small, but exquisitely charming restaurant.

Very disappointing. The online menu which drew me to the place was not what they were serving, and was not as interesting to me. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer. It was just like at a pub- deep fried breaded rings with a few green onions tossed over it to make it look like some effort was made. I could get better at Jack Astors or East Side Mario’s- at least they make there’s as a dish. I had a seafood pasta as a main. There was a paucity of seafood, about 6 tiny mussels, 4 small shrimp, two small scallops and two very salty ends of rubbery calamari. The sauce was more for colour than taste. With the rating of 4.6, I expected much more and left feeling cheated.

Went here on Saturday for a birthday dinner. Service is top notch, the atmosphere is modern yet cozy and the food is to die for and obviously made with love. Didn't take a picture but the fried calamari is the best in the city! Thank you to Claudio's for an amazing night.

Every dish was terrific. Calamari were perfectly cooked. Cream pesto gnocchi with chicken were exceptional. Salads and pizza were also excellent.Great service on a lovely newly constructed patio.Somewhat pricey with the least expensive bottle on the wine list at $45, but worth the cost.Highly recommend.

I’m from Orillia and friends of mine recommended we go here. The service was fantastic it was so incredible. The food was outstanding. We loved Liz and we were surprised when Christine the owner stopped in to check on us. They made us feel like we were at home. It was my first time here and I feel like Norm from Cheers. 5 stars absolutely and that’s only because we can’t give 10/10.

Had a great time here with the family for a birthday celebration. Staff are courteous and professional. Every dish we had was well received and the specials are intriguing enough to go back. I'd recommend the Beef Carpaccio as a must.Only issue was the atmosphere, it wasn't very lively and does feel like a dead restaurant. This could have been the time of day or day of week but it's noticable. Also with the open floor plan it's especially obvious when the restaurant is empty. I hope this can be turned around, I'd want nothing less for this beautiful establishment!

Cute Italian restaurant on James St N features many daily specials. This spot is very central I’d you are planning to have dinner and walk around to other spots as well.The atmosphere was a little strange, no music and separation between others dining. The service was fantastic, loved our server.For appetizers, we had the Burrata(daily special) and the Octopus Carpaccio(daily special). The Burrata was delicious! The Octopus Carpaccio was okay.The entrées the Ossobucco, Beef Carpaccio and the Gnocchi(special). The Ossobucco was tender. The Beef Carpaccio was delicious, it could have used another texture to elevate it. The Gnocchi had pesto and pistachio. It was good, the gnocchi didn’t seem house made.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Hamilton Ontario. Classy menu with sophisticated items. The wine list is great. Service was outstanding and precise. Went with several dishes plus I have new date for this Friday and will go again to this fine establishment. always looking for authentic Italian eatery and this place rocks
