Took a mixology class here and had such a great time. The instructors were fantastic; I learned a lot and had so much fun. Added bonus was getting tipsy by the end of the class!!

I came to this company with little knowledge of what it meant to bartend and let me tell you the information I left with is invaluable.Not only did I leave with adequate information necessary to perform well at my job at a Banquet Hall but with what I was taught I know I can go to any place in Calgary and be successful.If you're a newbie starting out then you should definitely check them out.Also Kestrel and Ian are amazing instructors!!

Got to sign up for the Saturday course this past winter (February 2020) and loved each class!! It was practical hands on experience with theory, technical and learning elements. I left the class with a whole new appreciation for bartenders! I did the add on classes: Wine Tasting and Bar Chef which were a lot of a fun and got to meet some new people! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to start a career, a new hobby or just interested in something new!

It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I came there with some what knowledge of serving and a bit of bartending. But I wanted to be more qualified and to know the right way of being a server/ bartender. Rob met all my expectations. As I am sure I will accomplish much more now that I am properly certified and trained. I am so thankful!! I definitely would recommend this place.

The owner, Rob is a very unprofessional person and is the reason for my 1 star review. The staff are all amazing but it’s not worth dealing with rob.

I attended a class as part of a Meetup group and it was a blast. Ian and Kathy were so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ian's instructions were easy to understand and we got to make some great drinks. Whether you already mix cocktails at home or you've never made one before, the class is lots of fun. It would be great for a date or a girls night!

I was impressed with the knowledge of my instructor (Ian). He is awesome, friendly and he knosws a lot.......I really had no idea that there is so much to learn but Ian makes it easy. After couples days of training I just wanted to go learn more. This school is pretty awesome and I'm happy that I signed up for the school they help me move faster and learn different kind of drinks it's just great. I still have another week left in school and I am excited to learn more.Thank you metropolitan school and thank you Ian for the knowledge.

Went to Metropolitan School of Bartending with no prior knowledge and learned so much! My instructor was Ian and he was so awesome. Answered all my questions with lots of detail. Great energy and environment. Highly recommend!
