The Doctors are great, but the some of the front stuff has terrible customer service, they will tell you that it’s a walked in then tell you later when you got there that you will have to wait 3 hrs because you don’t have appointment!Sometimes they will say oh just come back 2 or 3 hrs later so you don’t have to wait too long, they she will say come back at 4pm then the moment you came back on that specific time you still have to wait 1.5 hrs later. Many times your appointments was book on certain time and you still have to wait 1hr later, what’s the point of having appointment if they can’t get the rules straight.

My family and I have been with Dr. Lee for more than 12 years and never wanted to leave although we moved around in Calgary 6 or 7 times due to job/school changes. Actually not only Dr. Lee who is always kind and attentive to our medical needs, Dr. Tran and Dr. Yip are both fantastic doctors. On a recent occasion of walk-in, I saw Dr. Tran who quickly scheduled a procedure for me and followed up with a phone call once the test result became available. He explained everything in details and discussed all the options and helped me make the right decision. I feel so grateful for having Dr. Lee, Dr. Tran and Dr. Yip as my doctors.

Front desk need to change their attitude towards patients.I'm visiting this clinic more than 10 years and every time I go there I feel like it's my 1st time here.Receptionsits are very rigid and not friendly at all. They are sitting there to tell you all the rules you need to follow..Don't expect any favors. On the other hand Dr. Yip is so humble, down to earth, kind, reliable professional dr.Dr. Yip is the only reason that's why I have to go through front desk otherwise I would never see them.

I've been with Oneworld since it was established. I am happy & content with their service and have the utmost respect for the doctors and the employees. I have tried 2 walk in clinics but still end up returning here.

my recent encounter with ‘One World Medical Center’ was far from satisfactory. The receptionist was extremely incompetent for the position and their inefficiencies wasted a lot of my and other peoples time. It was clear that they were not up to the mark and displayed a significant lack of competence.Adding to the disappointment was a striking instance that occurred on the same day. I met a person who had been asked to come to the center, only to be informed on arrival that there was no space. This showed a clear lack of communication and respect for patients’ time. The state of affairs at ‘One World Medical Center’ is alarming and urgent improvements are needed. The center is supposed to be a place of care, and it’s disheartening to see such a disregard for patients’ needs and time.

My recent experience with One World Medical Center was both disappointing and frustrating. I was assured by a receptionist that Dr. Tran would be available to see me the next day when I visited the center. Based on this assurance, I made the trip, only to be told upon arrival that Dr. Tran was on holiday. The fault lies solely with the reception staff who misled me despite knowing about Dr. Tran's unavailability. This not only reflects poorly on their professionalism but also caused unnecessary inconvenience. The center needs to prioritize effective and accurate communication to prevent such instances. It's unfortunate that my time was wasted due to their lack of responsibility. I truly hope that improvements will be made in this regard. How difficult is to provide accurate information? Is now being a receptionist a more difficult career than an astronaut?

The phone line is either glitched where it cuts off after the automated menu listing upon trying to reach the reception. Finally got through after multiple calls. Approximated wait time for walk-in was ~1.5 to 2 hours (Nov/22) and it probably could be longer due to flu season. Receptionists were friendly and it was pretty peaceful in the waiting area. Dr Tran was pleasant, and awesome at what he does. He is to the point/efficient, also encouraged me to ask questions.

This is a walk-in clinic, which takes appointments for individual family doctors, sharing a common facility. All are GP, not specialists and will generally just conduct an examination, some prescription written, and usually a referral to a specialist, undertaken; or a form issued for minor referrals. An appointment is extremely recommended, as being a walk-in will usually take several hours (as many as 5) to be seen; and even appointments are not seen instantly, but within the quarter-hour or so, when the desired doctor is finished with the former patient.Opposed to some places, each doctor only sees one patient at the time, and not go between 2-3 other patients at the same time.I have found the reception a bit impersonal, but the doctor extremely polite and professional; eager to listen to the problem and try find a solution; there’s no time for chit-chat; you are politely dismissed, and may have to report to reception or not, to have referrals for X-ray and blood tests, formalized. If a long wait will be forthcoming, reception staff can arrange for a later appointment that day, with an available doctor and you will be asked to come back; after which you can leave, knowing your spot is protected. The Sunridge location is situated just inside the Superstore (you can’t miss it); about 200 steps to the right of the main door, after passing the gate. Everything is handicapped-friendly.A pharmacy is available inside Superstore for those who need a prescription filled.
