Absolutely top tier food! Great service! Very reasonable prices! Highly recommended! You can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in what they do. We visited this place along with our motorcycle group. Handled the larger group effectively. Will be making this a destination again!

Have never had a bad meal here and never leave hungry. Food is amazing, and plated beautifully. The only complaint and reason for not giving 5 stars (and this is looking for a reason) is frozen fries over hand cut fries. Can tell that every member of the kitchen staff take great pride in what they send out the kitchen!

Excellent quality meals ... nice atmosphere. We had the Tuesday special: quesadilla as well as a tender chicken burger with a side salad which included lettuce, apple, walnuts, feta and dried berries. So delicious.

In a small town this is an absolute gem. Didn't expect much going in. This is a restaurant you would expect in bigger city. Haven't had a bad meal here yet. Been a few times. Will always stop here when I'm in the area.

Friendly small town serviceExecutive chef quality food!!The burgers are out of this world and I recommend upgrading to garlic parm fries or the sweet potato fries!!If you are in Avonlea stop in and see for yourself!If you aren’t in Avonlea make the drive!! It’s so worth it!!

Have been checking out small town Sask while I’m off on medical leave. Trying different little cafes around Regina. I ended up having the 3 piece chicken dinner and an order of mushrooms on the side. Now here’s a place that knows how to deep fry. The mushrooms come in a cone and the paper wasn’t greasy at all. And the chicken! Great! Nice and crispy so you know the oil was hot to seal in the juices. Not greasy at all! Only things is…..add some seasoning to your coating. Will come back and try one of their burgers. Wait staff was great also. We will be back and recommend you.

The Back Home Restaurant catered two days of family reunions for us this weekend. With a very busy weekend, we knew that we could depend on them for delicious, high quality food and exceptional service. Our extended family thoroughly enjoyed the beef on a bun, salads, and sweets. We would highly recommend the Back Home Restaurant for your next function.

Dare to be Different. A Jalapeño coleslaw on a honey breaded chicken breast burger. Absolutely amazing. Flavors you'd never think of combining for a mouth watering (not spicy) meal. The sauce to fry ratio was impressive for the sweet potato fries. I dunked every fry and almost had left over sauce.Wife had the Honey Apple Chicken Salad. Wow I never thought cinnamon could be blended in to meal so perfectly. Very generous with the feta cheese and perfectly cooked chicken. Moist inside with a crisp outside.Absolutely BLOWN away with this meal. I grew up in Vancouver and this is the kind meal in a small a Saskatchewan town!!!!!. I will definitely be back to this restaurant.Bar environment was typical. Wouldn't say it was loud not quiet. People enjoying their night.
