This is a cute and authentic bakery in Gatineau that I would definitely recommend for the patisseries. We came here during the holidays so it was obviously packed, but we always try to look for the most “people-packed” bakeries which usually means they’re worth trying. We got the passion fruit mousse cake, the bûchette, the brioche à l’érable and the croissant aux amandes. Honestly the pâtisseries (passion fruit mousse and bûchette) we’re definitely worth it, the mousse was very light and a perfect contrast between sweet and sour, and the bûchette had a very rich chocolate ganache that was made of good quality dark chocolate. However, the viennoiseries were meh, the brioche was a bit dry and imo didn’t have enough maple syrup, and the croissant was a bit simple with not much almond flavour. I definitely recommend this bakery for the patisseries and cakes, but the viennoiseries could be better

Their chocolatine pastry is absolutely delicious. We drive out to that part of town just for these. It’s sort of a denser croissant, best find!

The ambiance there is always nice. Their deserts are delicious and not too pricey. Everything is fresh and the service is very friendly.A must go for fine desserts.

Great little cafe in Gatineau. It clean and the staff is friendly. They have a good variety of gluten free options made with high quality ingredients. My favourite was the puff pastry with chocolate inside of it. Overall I had a good experience and will return again.

Absolutely LOVE Fidelice!The staff is super friendly, patient, and helpful.The croissants, eclairs, and cakes are absolutely delicious.The croquet noisette cake is awesome. I just wish it was a bit bigger because it's so tasty everyone usually wants seconds.The seating is very limited (only 1 small table) so it's mostly for pick-up.Definitely try them out, and you won't be disappointed.

Great bakery with lots of treats to choose from, stemming from different cakes to pastries. I always am in search of a good pain au chocolat, and it definitely did not disappoint, it was so buttery and flakey.We were served quickly, especially for on a Saturday during the day. Lots of selection and prices were very reasonable. Also some added merchandise like teas, coffees and chocolates you can buy too.

Cute bakery, I didn't get any patisseries, but just a couple of baguettes towards the end of the day. They weren't as complex as other baguettes from other nearby bakeries, but it was the end of the day to be fair.

Very great cakes! Fresh, unique, and beautiful designs. My fiancé's dad had his 68th, and his daughter in law got him this cake! I was very impressed that I had to review this place!

I like this local bakery. Love the francophone feel when you enter the st Joseph store. The frozen croissants are fun to prepare and remind me of the real thing I used to get on Bougival, France. Flakey, buttery and textured.
