Sprott Shaw College Kamloops

I had bad bad experience with this campus as international student, they took my money but they did not teach me anything so I had to leave school, and now I have work visa, It was long time ago I wouldn't recommend this school. I cried so much only one teacher listened my words, even my score enough pass they did not give me passing course reason why I don't understand them. but when I asked to the teacher they only answered to me 'search for google they have answer'. I don't know how teacher said to me like that.

I enjoy the environment and the class sizes that are available at this campus. I have done three programs here and received honors for all of them. The amount of support from the staff was amazing and the teachers go above and beyond to help there students. I enjoyed the work environment so much that I took a job at the campus . Thank you for helping me become successful in a job that I love.

Wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. I was taking the ECE course, I was finishing up 3 retake classes ended up pregnant & wanting to wait a full year to return after having my baby, was told I have to pay full tuition again in order to receive a certificate. Therefore I never got to complete my course & they wouldn’t refund anything back for the areas I never experienced yet.

Nicole Duff is an incredible instructor. She teaches courses in the PN program. I always felt incredibly prepared for tests and exams in her class because she taught us so well. My whole class loves her and we feel very lucky to have her knowledge while going through the program.

I am a Sprott Shaw Alumn, I went to the college to attain my Early Childhood Education and my Infant and Toddler Specialty. The Administrative staff is awesome! I was always able to go to them with any questions or concerns and get answers in a timely manner. They are super friendly and always there to help! The Faculty that I have had the pleasure of studying under have all been exceptional teachers, and I have always felt like I have completed my programs and left with the skills and tools I need to be successful in my field.

I am beginning my nursing career journey here at Sprott Shaw and Nicole Duff has been the most incredible instructor. She takes the time to make the information understandable, ensure we feel comfortable and confident with our knowledge and is always available for questions when needed.

Horrible experience! Don't waste your time or money.I was hesitant to post this, but the school is now doing a contest to get more reviews so here goes nothing.I recently graduated from the ECE program and while I cannot praise Shawna highly enough, she is the only good thing about this college. I could tell you horror story after horror story of my class falling through the cracks, being bounced between different teachers, and not being able to get a straight answer about anything... Ever. But for the sake of brevity, all the problems link directly to an ABSOLUTE LACK OF ORGANIZATION. This college and its administration couldn't organize a cutlery drawer, little less an education institution. This place is not worth the headache of their lack luster planning and their money-first, students-last business model.

Completed my LPN diploma in 2019 - Would highly recommend the program!

I went to Sprott Shaw College and took their Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma. I was able to find a job two months before I was finished school. All the teachers are great, and they all really care about your learning. If I ever needed help they were always willing to stay late or work with me at lunch. I would definitely recommend Sprott Shaw if you want to change careers or just do some upgrading in your field!
