Pickle Lake Hotel
Wasn’t expecting to have food in this quaint little region as most places were closed middayand midweek on our trip towards pickle lake. Food was decent, tasty and huge portions. Had the special wings and fries, chefs salad, calamari with tzatziki, and hungry man’s breakfast. Compared to the outer towns 4+ hours before reaching Pickle Lake (all of which I would not recommend eating at) this was a feast and the place as well as food were clean.

The rooms are decent, comfortable enough beds and they're clean. They are a bit dated. The satellite tv has a decent channel selection, but could be better. The wifi will usually do the trick. The restaurant is excellent. I haven't had a bad meal. My only complaint is the bar with no beer..

Pickle Lake Hotel
Well, I can say we visited Pickle Lake. The hotel was nice on the inside. Rooms were clean and recently renovated. Gr8 deck out back with a tiki hut. Food was really good, typical roadhouse style. The area around the hotel needs some cleaning up. Unfortunately the view when we were there was pretty hazy due to area forest fires. Friendly staff.

Pickle Lake Hotel
Work in Aviation, had a last minute change and had to cancel. Did not expect to receive the $300 back because we didn’t cancel soon enough but the staff was understanding and refunded us for the next weekend. Offered a free upgrade to a nicer room and helped get us gas money when we lost the fibre optic and was unable to get cash for gas money to leave town. Would highly recommend, food in the kitchen was better than I expected to.

Variety of rooms to meet your needs; all reasonable priced. Lots of hot water and very clean; maids are very helpful!The restaurant and bar have fun daily dinner specials. Portions are large even at breakfast and lunch. 5 star wait service! they remember your order and preferences the next day.

Owners were exceptional hosts, did everything to make it the perfect place to stay, VERY accommodating, restaurant food was amazing, breakfast and dinners were always great, we were up for 10 days painting the airport and they went above and beyond for us keeping the kitchen open late etc. highly recommend
