RONA Prince Albert

Do not order windows from RONA.Ordered 7 windows from All Weather Windows through Rona earlier this year. Some of the windows needed repair right away. We had to wait several months to pick up the windows as they were ordered in the winter. As it turns out they were stored in the yard - not in a container - all winter long.All Weather passed the blame for the condition of the windows to Rona and Rona passed to All Weather.All of the windows were full of sand and dirt, one had a bent frame, another a broken casement, several of them were dented, one had a torn screen, another had broken handle, one had a broken latches, another had missing finishing pieces. ALL the windows were full of scratches on the PVC. Judging from the pattern of damage It appears as though someone attempted to move them with a fork lift and dropped them at some point.Never - ever - have I been to a place that stored windows in a yard and treated them with such carelessness. It took over 6 months to sort out these issues and get them repaired. They are still scratched and chipped. We were given a small monetary compensation after our contractor advocated for us. A huge waste of $10 000 - and now we have windows that look like they are 30 years old.

I tried phoning lumber desk twice and no answer left a message to phone me back! Nobody phoned! I guess they don't need my business!

Helpful staff and a good return policy. Some items can be overpriced or unavailable.

I'm new here so I'll give it a go ! Great staff, very friendly and helpful fair prices. Oddly enough the last three times I was in there people were caught stealing which is very weird.

I would like to commend the outstanding customer service provided by Dan or Daniel, one of employees or manager (not sure of his exact position at Rona Prince Albert store). I recently had the pleasure of receiving assistance from Dan regarding a T-mold wood transition, and I must say that the level of service provided went beyond my expectations.Dan's knowledge and expertise in the matter were truly impressive. Not only did Dan help me find the appropriate solution for my needs, but also took the time to address my concerns and issues on the T-molding I bought at the Prince Albert branch. This attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly set Dan apart.I greatly appreciate Dan's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction. His friendly demeanor, patience, and professionalism made the entire experience pleasant and stress-free. It is employees like Dan who make a significant difference in building a positive customer experience.I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dan or Daniel for his exceptional assistance and encourage him to keep up the fantastic work. Online orders don't get processed in a timely way compared to competitors.

Got exterior doors put on in fall, have called numerous times that they have been sticking. No help finally get ahold of the door lady and then got told because I forced my door open ( had to get in my house some how) and did not get hold of her first to get it fixed that my warranty is void. When in fact I had called numerous times before and got no where. Guy didn't even want to come fix it if I paid extra. My doors were not even done properly. Don't appreciate the rudeness of the employees. Have not went back there since and probabyl wont. They think ppl have extra money to get doors put on a second time. I already paid $4500 for the 2 doors that got put on and struggling as is. Just not impressed of the customer service. What's the point of offering warranty when you don't give it when needed. Also the door in the front is faulty (window leaks) but owell everyone's rich and can afford to get another company to put new doors on right?!

Decent prices best to know what your looking for prior to arrival as I found over the years the staff are fairly inexperienced in most things trade wise even the most basic of items may go over some staff. I asked to see a hammer drill by dewalt and a staff member working in the power tools department didn't know what I was talking about. Pretty basic knowledge kinda stuff as far as power tools go. I found the item my self with no thanks to the guy who had no business working around tools. Similar issue when buying a new furnace filter I came in with my old one as its a very particular type that's reusable but finally needed replacement. The lady wouldn't look at it and wouldn't measure it either. long story short she was pushy and just said no it's this one, I know it is and I questioned the size she actually got annoyed and said she knows what she's talking about. Low and behold it was the wrong size.... if she would have looked up the model number or just simply measured it would have saved me a headache. Took same filter elsewhere and zero issues rona lady was full of it, straight up.
