Title: A Flavorful Journey at Peninsula (Dammika's) Sri Lankan & Indian CuisineRating: ★★★★☆Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Peninsula (Dammika's) Sri Lankan & Indian Cuisine, and it proved to be a delightful culinary experience. Located in [city/neighborhood], this restaurant offers a fusion of Sri Lankan and Indian flavors that tantalize the taste buds.Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor reflected the vibrant cultures of Sri Lanka and India, creating a visually appealing atmosphere. The attentive and friendly staff added to the welcoming vibe, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The menu at Peninsula (Dammika's) offers a wide variety of dishes, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Sri Lanka and India. From fragrant curries to mouthwatering biryanis, there was an array of options to choose from. As a fan of spice, I was particularly impressed by the robust flavors and aromatic spices that infused each dish. For starters, I opted for the samosas, which were perfectly crispy and filled with a delicious blend of spiced vegetables. The accompanying chutneys provided a delightful balance of tanginess and heat. As for the main course, I tried the Sri Lankan chicken curry, which was a highlight of my dining experience. The tender chicken cooked in a rich coconut-based sauce with a perfect blend of spices was simply divine. Paired with fluffy basmati rice and freshly made naan bread, it was a truly satisfying meal. The restaurant also offers a selection of Sri Lankan and Indian desserts to round off the dining experience. I indulged in the traditional Sri Lankan dessert called Watalappam, a creamy coconut custard with hints of jaggery and spices. It was a sweet and delightful way to end the meal. What truly stood out during my visit was the authenticity of the flavors. The chef's expertise in blending traditional spices and ingredients resulted in dishes that felt true to their origins. The presentation of each dish was also noteworthy, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. While the overall experience was fantastic, I would like to note that the restaurant could benefit from a wider selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Although there were a few choices available, a more extensive range would cater to a broader audience. In conclusion, Peninsula (Dammika's) Sri Lankan & Indian Cuisine offers a captivating culinary journey through the flavors of Sri Lanka and India. With its welcoming ambiance, attentive service, and mouthwatering dishes, it is a recommended destination for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or longing to explore the diverse cuisines of Sri Lanka and India, this restaurant is well worth a visit.

I came to Dhammika hoping the food would be great as it had 4 star reviews but I can tell you the food was not authentic, it felt like some random person cooked it rather than a professional chef. The food was bland and required salt, I’m a Sri Lankan and can tell you the food was not authentic at all. I paid £67.44 for two people and 12.5% service charge. The toilet was so dirty and the restaurant wasn’t even kept well, I would have expected a better atmosphere for that service charge. The only good thing was the lady who served, she was really nice. The quality of food, atmosphere and the interior was not worth the money to pay £67 for two people.I had the devilled prawns which was £10.99 but only had 5 prawns! For the price I paid I expected better. If I wanted this low quality I would have gone to a normal takeaway place which actually would have tasted better.

One of the best in London and a must try place!!!! after a London trip we struggled a lot to get some decent food in our tight budget, most of the restaurants were disappointing…..Finally when we are about to leave we visited this place…the food was awesome, Biriyani each variety tasted really good and different…..We ( a group of 9 people ) all wanted see and appreciate the cook and we met him. As expected an Indian humble guy who know the magic of spices!!!!!! Thanks a lot

My first visit in a year. Delighted with my meal and the service. Improved my rating. A year ago, I was disappointed. This year everything exceeded my expectations. Had a great visit and will be back again as soon as possible and write a more detailed review.

I had the best experience today. The food was really delicious specially the Devi chicken. Very minimalist spices and staff were also very friendly. She helped us to pick the most selling dish and not gonna lie, it was outstanding. Thanks for all making my tummy better lol. Everything was amazing. Will definitely visit again.

The food was excellent and was delivered quite quickly but the staff were a bit inattentive as we had to wait about 15 minutes for the bill after we asked multiple times. It was quite irritating as we were running late and the staff were unresponsive after multiple requests.

Fantastic experience! The restaurant had a charming atmosphere with affordable price and the staff's were incredibly attentive. The tastes of all food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that satisfied every plate. We 9+2 kids visited here after the final day of London Trip. We tried foods from different Indian restaurants, but it was disappointing. We tried different foods from here each gives different tastes. At last, we called the chef for a appreciation, a kind man.Highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable Indian dining experience.
