Laurier Athletic Complex

The club has good machines, decent plate loaded compound lifts but the free weight area is a nightmare; not 1 dumbbell in its proper spot, random dumbbells all over the turf, missing weights and the bench’s themselves are cheap and out of date, bench seat is fixed so it’s far more risky to do heavy lifts like shoulder press because form will always be off . Furthermore the lockeroom is filthy, dirty socks on the floor, garbage and a musty smell, I really don’t think it’s cleaned more than once a day. In addition (not the clubs fault) this place is literally stuffed packed aside from super early morning. If your a casual gym user and a Laurier student then this gym will serve its purpose as a free gym. If your a rat then the $10 a month for crunch fitness will provide you with an infinitely more fulfilling gym experience.

great place to swim lanes for fitness. It can be busy so choose your swim times wisely, usually early in the morning is best.

Horrible fitness centre! Not much to do, and very subpar. Only group ex is good

It's a great place to exercise or do intramurals, but if you have an exam here bring a sweater. It will be cold.

Solid gym, busy 24/7.

Way to busy unless you get there before the crack of dawn! Facility is good otherwise.

Facility is really big and has great security. The gym is a very big and good place to train. The pool is also very nice and has a very good observation area.

My kids university. I love it

The facility looks good from the outside. However, the Men changing room is disappointing and even dangerous. You can feel bad odor everywhere.
