Hi,I met with the owner at a London Spring Home Show. I signed a contract and gave them a deposit. I was told I would be the first job of the year, that should’ve been the first red flag as they didn’t have any other jobs booked at that time.They showed up about 1 month late in June. They said they had a crew of 12 with 6 on excavation and 6 on concrete work. It was the same 6 guys doing the entire job. Throughout the job, they would come and go as they please, at times they would not show up for weeks. But they would always ask for more money.They didn’t haul away my excavated soil. They mixed all the excavated soil with my top soil and sprinkled gravel all over my back yard. They delayed the job so long that they didn’t finish the pool until the following Spring. And because they mixed the gravel with topsoil and used it for backfill around the pool. It’s settled and the concrete has cracks at every corner. There was a section that dipped and held water, they replaced this section and now it doesn’t match.The owner was Ruben Mercado and he was the main guy I was dealing with. He said he would come and fix the cracks and replace the section again, but he hasn’t returned my calls.Stay away from these guys. Especially Ruben.
