MFTK Martial Arts Academy

Professionally and expertly ran Academy; great instructors around the owner who has created wonderful place for kids to learn not just taekwondo but to build on their equally important skills as discipline, respect, punctuality, listening. I recommend this place as a shining star among all the places in Toronto where you would want your child to be.

I recently joined MFTK to get back into taekwondo after a gap of 10 years. Despite not remembering my forms and not being in shape, the masters reminded me to stay focused and not give up. They recognize your level of knowledge and fitness and push you accordingly.This is a challenging sport that needs self discipline. Anyone will benefit from it, especially younger kids.I love this place, everyone is friendly and the instructors are fantastic.

This is our second class; yet I am please with the level of engagement that my 4 year old has achieved so far.It is very difficult to keep small kids focus and engage during long time. Yet they achieve this with hi energy and good training.

My son loves the workout! He always looks forward to them. The trainers are true professionals. Trainings are very active and interesting.

My son was trying a few schools in the city, and this is one of the best schools in the city if not the best one.He has been practicing there for almost a year, and this place is a hidden gem. The staff, from the grand master to the rest of the team, is absolutely remarkable. They are kind, attentive, serious and train the kids with a lot of respect for them and for this art.Thank you!

My son Krishay has been practicing martial arts with MFTK for more than an year now. This academy has at least 5-7 professional masters and they teach with utmost dedication. MFTK is highly respected for their professionalism. The academy not only teaches the fighting skills, they also teach discipline and to respect for elders. My kid eagerly waits for the martial arts class everyday. I highly recommend MFTK martial arts academy. One of the best martial arts academy in Toronto.

*Update: My son completed his first test today at MFTK and it was very amazing to watch how much he's progressed, and also to watch all the other levels and their abilities. The masters gave such great feedback, not just on students form and technique, but also on the important life lessons taught/encouraged here: discipline, respect, self control and focus. It is very evident Masters at MFTK really care about students growth and well being in general. So incredible to watch my sons self confidence gleam as he held up his medal with pride! Thank you so much for all the work you put in! Colton is so excited to continue on.My 5 year old loves going to karate at MFTK! The staff are kind and patient with him as he learns and gets better, but also just the right amount of tough" so he learns to be more disciplined and focused. My 8-year-old daughter has recently started taekwondo with MFTK. She is already building confidence, discipline and strength. The instructors are very engaging and my daughter is excited to attend her classes. Would highly recommend!

My little son loved MFTK from the trial class. And before this nothing really worked for him so I was very happy that we found an activity which resonates with him. I also believe it’s the masters approach, attention (especially in Tiny Tigers class) and discipline which they are being taught at the class. Classes are a combination of fun and sweat.
