I just had a laser hair removal session with Melodee and I am not exaggerating but she is the BEST specialist I have ever had (I have had laser sessions in many places). She gives her 200%, super dedicated, careful, detail oriented, perfectionist and kind!!! I will for sure keep having the treatment here and I will always ask for her.Melody you are a great professional!!! Yaletown Laser Centre is lucky to have you.

I did a consult for laser tattoo removal and the girl was really rude and impatient with my questions.When I asked about scarring she responded that if I lied about things like tanning I would scar. Why would I lie? I want this to go well for myself. She was so short with me when I was asking questions about healing, scarring, etc, and seemed annoyed that I had so many questions. I didn’t feel safe going back to get the treatment.Update: no one ever contacted me

The most professional and caring clinic in Vancouver! Dr. Shelly is incredibly gentle and kind with her care as well as her staff. The aesthetically pleasing interior design along with the professionalism of care makes me feel so safe and confident every time I get treatments done : )

So on my search to find a place with a Picoway (Apparently the best for the colours on my tattoo) I kept running into insanely overpriced costs per session (seriously -- some places were up to $500 a session which is insane - I could never afford ) until here quoted me a chunk lower than others (Not sure if it stays the same price but Tara let me know they usually start at the lowest -for tiny tattoos- about $250/session)Dana was awesome - she helped me through text message to set up the appointment and having the laser done on herself as well explained to me all the steps that were going to happen through text BEFORE I EVEN BOOKED and helped me feel more calm because I heard horrific stories about the pain (more on this in a bit haha), results, etc and managed to find me an appointment the next day which I was super happy about, I have the worst patience!I am not sure of the names of everyone when I walked in but they handed me a covid form and took my temp when I entered and led me into a second waiting room to fill out my consent form (which by the way my dumb butt thought it was just one page it's actually like 3 pages so don't be a me and flip through the other pages to sign everything I just thought it was a bunch of the same form on top of one another)Tara had greeted me with my consent form and after I (incorrectly haha) filled it out led me into the back to discuss my tattoo. She helped calm my nerves even more (I hate pain) without sugarcoating that it was going to be painless and after we had set that up we went into a second room to start the treatment. She applied a numbing cream to my hand and gave me an ice pack to hold onto as we fixed my incorrectly filled out form (again, oops - sorry). She made sure that the numbing cream had worked (at this point I couldn't even feel the ice so I thought it would be perfect) and then set to work.Guys, I cannot express to you the pain that I went through on the setting we needed for the black ink. I know that I don't have the GREATEST pain tolerance but holy. If you ever get a tattoo on your hand either make sure it's not black ink that is deeply pressed into your skin (I had a bad tattoo artist - check my older reviews if you wanna see who ruined my hand in Las Vegas haha) or it's something you know you are going to love from an artist you adore. I failed on both counts. I'd heard stories about how much it hurt but didn't really register until I was getting my hand blasted with this thing. However, working on the orange and blue inks was remarkably less painful - after the black ink they almost felt like nothing haha.Now, even with all that pain Tara was working super quickly and gave me some breaks to breathe (telling me to let her know whenever I needed her to stop so that I could be as comfortable as you can with something like this). She kept up a conversation the whole time even though I could barely reply at points to keep my mind off these lasers. Dana had also come back in after asking if they could film the removal process which I was fine with (I wanted a video myself and honestly looking back I do not think I could have filmed it myself HAHA) and she was also chatting with me to keep me distracted. Tara double checked the laser after each setting change and monitored the ink removal to make sure everything was going to go well. They gave me two little ice packs to cycle between at home in case of pain and after a little bit more of a chat I left!I really enjoyed going here, everyone I met was very friendly and chatty (I love that because I tend to be a pretty chatty person myself in case you can't tell already haha)! They also were very open with how the treatments work and the process which I appreciate even though I tend to do a lot 'google research' nothing preps you quite as much as it actually happening. I'll be back! Especially for Tara and Dana -- I can't wait to see what the tattoo removal does - I'll try to remember to keep this updated with the process because I had a hard time myself finding reviews with people keeping them updated

I had such a great experience with Dr. Nicole at Yaletown Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry Clinic. The clinic appeared clean and organized, and there was no wait time to see Dr. Nicole for my appointment. As a dermatologist, she was kind, patient, understanding, meticulous, and professional. I truly felt that I was heard as a patient, and that my comfort with our treatment plan was a priority. In contrast with my previous dermatologist experiences, I felt that Dr. Nicole prioritized personalized treatment and patient education. Rather than a 3-5 minute appointment, Dr. Nicole spent 20-30 minutes with me to understand the problem and my patient history, explain different treatment possibilities, form a plan moving forward, and answer any questions I had. I would recommend others try this clinic, and book an appointment with Dr. Nicole in particular if they are looking for a dermatologist.

I am so happy I found Yaletown Laser! For the second time I’ve had Botox done, it made me question my other experience somewhere else prior. From having worked in the hospitality industry, the customer service here is Forbes standards in my books. From how you’re greeted to when you leave is seamless. Everyone is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Yes, you’re paying for a service but they make you feel like family. I absolutely love Dr. Shelly and the team! She has a very natural approach and love the 2 week follow up. Quality work and highly recommend!

I NEVER write reviews but I had to share my amazing experiences that I have had with Yaletown Laser Centre! From the first moment I arrived, I was treated with such kind care and professionalism. I honestly have never been so impressed with a medical spa clinic as I was with Yaletown Laser Centre! The experience I had with Jennifer and Dr. Shelly was absolutely wonderful. When it comes to options and treatments for anti-aging Jennifer is a true miracle worker. You can tell that she loves what she does. I fully trust they’re recommendations and feel extremely educated when making my decisions.
