Courthouse Kamloops

1 star because online it says they open at 8:30. They in fact don't open until 9:00. It is stressful attending a courthouse and getting up the courage can take a lot not to mention time off of work. Doesn't exactly instill trust.

Kamloops provincial family court ,When I choose to self represent myself in a family court presentation hearing , for some odd reason the judge asked me to step up onto the stand , with that being my first time representing my own legal case I was unaware that I should have never been asked to take that position , live and learn everyday,I struggle with the verdict that became of the family court case , due to the fact that guardianship is never awarded %100 to one parent, as well as siblings are not separated etc.it a personal matter that is just an insight to the latest Family court case .I’m sure they made the right decisions basically labelling me as an unfit mother that was incapable of raising her children.

Who the hell gave these jokers five stars? When a system run by individuals or lobbies as a means to gain wealth and power run the show then we have a society full of sickies with Stockholm Syndrome.

The Kamloops courthouse is a reasonably modern building. It has Provincial and Supreme Court rooms and a full Registry for court documents. It also has Community Corrections on the first floor as well as BC Sheriff Service office on the second floor. Service BC is on the second floor as well.

If you're in family court as a father, make sure you don't get Judge Stella Frame; strong bias against fathers; would not let me finish a sentence as she did the mother. Only made decisions when I wasn't there, or postpone if I was. Request a different judge or walk out.Judge Harrison was great, treated myself and the other party with full respect and us both finish our sentences. Is very fair and treats both parents equally.

I won my traffic ticket!!! 1500.00 I didn't have to pay because a cop was having a bad day and decided to take it out on me.
