It's clean, the reservation is the pits. We are traveling with another couple,and they split us up each spend 2 nights in different province. That's sad.

So took the Highlander to Port Aux Basque, which was a great night crossing. Slept all night and showered in a clean bathroom the next morning. Return to NS from Port on Atlantic vision, not as good as the first ferry. Again we got a cabin even though it was a day crossing so we could stay away from the crowd. First thing we noticed was the rm was cold so I turned up the heat. The rm temp never changed so my wife was under blankets and I put on my coat. Second issue was the bathroom smelled of sewage, made us almost sea sick every time we used it. Tried to run water in the sink and shower to maybe fill traps with water to block the smell, we even filled the drain in the floor under the toilet and no change. So even though it looked newer than the highlander it wasn’t a better cruise. If you get cabin 8019, ask for another cabin!

Began as a slightly frustrating experience, but in the end I had a blast. I showed up yesterday at the terminal in North Sydney without a reservation, it was a last minute trip and the website said reservations aren't required, Though they did say they were strongly recommended. The guy at the gate was polite when he held back laughing out loud and said 'You don't show up without a reservation in the summer.' I asked when he could get me in and he said 'In 6 days'.... A WEEK! So faced with spending a week in cape Breton or driving 4,000 KM around the long way, I made the obvious choice. Labrador is beautiful this time of year! Currently in Happy Valley, Goose Bay feeling like a college student on a road trip. Thanks Marine Atlantic!

The professional driver's room was great. Very clean, big TV, quite room, free coffee and nice showers.

We went to North Sydney to catch the Newfoundland ferry. Didn't really have time to explore. But we spent a night in Sydney and it was lovely. Walked the harbour boardwalk

A wonderful professional crews working for the company; it’s pricey for a reason. Our ferry got rescheduled for 3 times due to weather & wind; it’s not pleasant, but they do a good job settling things.

Rode the MV Blue Puttes to Channel Port Of Basques. Excellent service for the late night crossing. Cabin was cleaned and well kept, staff friendly and courteous. From check in to departure they right there to help. Rode the MV Atlantic Vision back to North Sydney, Nova Scotia formerly a cruise ship with all its glory.

Due to covid everyone gets a private cabin and must stay in it duration of the trip. No restaurants are open and no coffee available :(. But trip was fine and everyone was very nice and cheerful.

Great stuff. All of them. Was here many times. Dropping and picking. Drivers place is beat. Thanks guys...
