Dear fellow spirits enthusiasts,I recently visited the Spirit of York distillery and overall, I had a pleasant experience. Despite some communication challenges with our server, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was quite tasty. However, I must say, I was slightly disappointed by the size of the portions as they were quite small.Unfortunately, the thing that stood out the most was that the vodka tasted like tequila, which was a bit surprising. But, I have to say, the overall experience was enjoyable and they have a unique selection of spirits that are definitely worth trying.In conclusion, I would recommend visiting the Spirit of York distillery to any spirit enthusiasts who are looking for something new and different. Their unique offerings are something to boast about, but do keep in mind the small portions and unusual tasting vodka. Overall, I would give Spirit of York 4 out of 5 stars and will definitely return!

My go to place to get drinks in Toronto. The atmosphere is fantastic. The drinks are delicious and the serving sizes are a very good bang for your buck. The staff are my favourite part though. They are incredibly friendly and elevate the experience every time. Lexi the assistant manager is a standout. She is kind and outgoing and goes the extra mile. I would keep coming back for her alone. Fantastic place for any occasion!

Honestly this place is much worse that I thought. I don’t recommend to go there. In menu you can find FEW cocktails and it’s not good. Also menu is just a piece of crumpled paper that feels like toilet paper. From their small menu they was out of “Mr. Pink” that makes me upset. So, I ordered “mango tango” and it was also mistake. Honestly bad cocktail. Unbalanced, too spicy. Didn’t feel any taste except chilli liquor. Experience was bad.

I believe this establishment may be better known for its drinks but I can only comment on the food as that is what I had. The Sicilian flatbread entirely resembled a pizza and the dough was very thick. It was okay but not worth the price. The island wings were standard dry fried wings with a bit of jerk sauce sprinkled over it. These were not jerk wings as advertised. I had to request more sauce on the side. They were also very tiny. Again, okay but wouldn’t order it again. The service could also use some improvement.

Beautiful building to visit and have a drink at.You can view the distillery equipment at the back and learn about the process.Cocktails are delicious and the employees helpful. It's a good place to have a drink and relax.

Beautiful building in the Distillery District. The inside is great and the cocktails (Mr Pink in pic) are fab. Definitely worth a visit.

Hot drinks and a place to warm up. If you get a chance to have Lexi, she is fun, great suggestions, and great service! Definitely worth checking out in the distillery district. They have a good selection of spirits (vodka, gin, and whiskey) to choose from in different drinks. If you go in the one entrance it does not appear to be mobility accessible, however there is an additional entrance the staff can let you in that has a ramp.

Outstanding! Everything was perfect on our visit yesterday. We were a party of six. We brought our cousins who just arrived from Melbourne Australia. I can't even describe how amazing our experience was here yesterday. We ordered Japanese fries that were scrumptious along with an order of flatbread. My partner and I ordered Caesars and they were the best Caesars we've ever tasted. So good, we had two each. My cousins sampled gin and whiskey. The atmosphere is wonderful. Our servers Andrew and Jen were knowledgeable and professional. Do yourself a favour, go to Toronto's distillery district and visit the Spirit of York Distillery

Stopped in as a capper on our brewery crawl. This was stop #5. Just a quick stop, so we didn't get to do a tour or tastings. I had the Northern Touch - who can say no to whisky and spiced maple syrup?We will be back for a longer stay.

Although we had limited to spend here, my first recommendation to everyone is to plan and spend a lot of time here.It’s really nice to see the exclusive stuff they have and perhaps even plan a trip before you have a special party.The hosts are friendly and take time go over everything with no rush or pressure to shop.The outdoor seating is also, though I preferred to absorb the elegant ambience and designer interiors of this tasteful done brewery.
