This place is incredible. Beautiful, clean, peaceful... The owners are very thoughtful hosts. They have gone the extra mile stocking the cottages with everything you need and more. We almost extended our stay because we loved it so much but did not want to displace existing bookings. We will be back.

We had an upcoming stay booked for July 15th, 2023; weekend due to family emergency we had to cancel. Jodi was so understanding to accommodate our request and did the needful so our mind could we put at ease. Really appreciate.

Love our stays at Expanse Cottages. They're so accommodating with our large group. They provide everything you need to cook with in the cottages (including coffee and teas!) and lots of fire wood that gets replenished daily. The cabins are always clean. We can't wait to come back again and again!

I had a fantastic time during my seven day stay at Expanse Cottages.One of the things I appreciated most about being there, along with the incredible location with world class hiking right out your doorstep, was the quality of the service from Jodi and Jason and their whole family. You can feel the love and care they put into that place and their commitment to you enjoying your stay and having everything you need.Fantastic people, fantastic place. Recommend it completely to anyone wanting a quiet, cozy place as your home base for mountain adventure.

Stayed at Expanse cottages in February. We rented The Rock" cabin. Check in was easy - pulled into the cabin area

Pros - clean, well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, basic kitchenware and spices, quite, beautiful scenery.Cons- the cabin we thought we booked was not the cabin we got. When booking online there was only one cabin left over Christmas weekend. The cabin we got was the more expensive, newly renovated cabin (their reason it looked different than the photos). The bed was so uncomfortable we barely got any sleep and were so stiff and sore from it. Could not find any comfort on the sofa as it is basically a foam cushion on 2x4 frame. This is a two bedroom (4 person) cabin. 4 people will barely fit on the sofa at one time. The dining room table is bar height with 4 very uncomfortable chairs. There was absolutely nowhere in the cabin we could relax and be comfortable that we cut our Christmas getaway short and went home. There was only two of us for our stay. Could not imagine having 4 people staying in the cabin together.

Where do I begin with a very relaxing stay! First the basics: clean, well-maintained, everything you need to get your stay kicked off at a country cabin. What I loved: a cabin in the woods, quaint, quiet, small fire pit where we cooked brats, all fire wood provided and replenished daily, nothing fancy but still very comfortable. It is a cozy cabin, right sized for a relaxing vacation. I very much reccomend these cabins. Management seems very nice and work hard to make sure everyone has what they need.
