This is a student residence, so I didn't expect too much. I was happy enough to book something in stampede week that I could afford. So, I was pleasantly surprised to have a great view(high rise) of the skyline and the mountains, quiet place to work(yup great place for remote working and studying), kitchen, rooms and have friendly people all around. Totally loved walking through the campus to c train(only a few stops to stampede/downtown), beautiful and tree lined. I had a great stay.

This was a great and affordable option. I stayed in an executive suite for the week and it was fantastic. Air conditioning, views, tv and full kitchen. Very quiet. Staff was great and were able to answer any questions. Would highly recommend!

Location incredible for all areas of access within the city. Front line staff wonderful and do try to accommodate within their capabilities. The overall feel though is that management has dropped the ball in elevating the stay from a cheap motel to a decent hotel. The management could easily make necessary improvements if they themselves actually checked in, and stayed overnight to understand the simple pitfalls that exist with the stay from pillows, to no TV, to no air movement. (They need to go to the Gemba)

Warning to those staying in the summer, the rooms get very hot and there is no AC, and even with fans it was hard to sleep. Also, for families the beds are quite high off the ground so we had to move beds to the walls for safety as the floors are hard concrete.

Best value in Calgary, included covered parking (albeit a 5 minute walk away, bring an umbrella) and continental breakfast.

Booked the two bedroom suite as advertised as sleeps 4 people, the beds are so small you can only get one person per bed even though they claim they are doubles. Secondly rooms are dirty, concrete floors and feels like a prison. Thirdly toilet was broken and not attached to floor. Fourthly shower broken and only worked for full hot. Fifthly the free breakfast was awful …. And the list goes on.If the price was far cheaper then this super basic accommodation might have been acceptable but considering the price you would be better off staying in any other Calgary hotel. We were there 5 nights and not once was the room cleaned or the towels changed. All I can say is avoid this unless you can't find anything else.

The hall way to the room was flickering and felt like im in a haunted apartment. The wash room also looked like a public toilet. Bedsheets where old. Flooring has some stains. And the window was dirty. Didnt last inside the room for 10minutes. And we ended up sleeping in a wallmart parking lot.

My daughter and I had a room booked from July 14th until July 20th. Alex at the front reception was friendly and helpful but it all went south after check in. It was +30 outside and when we entered our room we discovered there was no air conditioning and it was incredibly hot. The next day we went out and purchased a fan. When I attempted to have a glass of cold water I learned the water would not get cold. Simply remained at room temperature. Same with the shower. Barely any pressure and no cold water to cool off in the hot room. The next day our fridge stopped working. At this point I became frustrated and went to the front reception to ask the employee to move us to a room with a working fridge. She simply stated she would be in a request for maintenance the following day but could not guarantee the maintenance person would be here tomorrow. I listed off all the negative things about our stay and she said she would put in the maintenance request. It should also be noted that the parking provided is a fair distance from the residence. I would honestly recommend not staying here.
