Best second-hand bookstore in the region. Tapped into higher-end collections. I find reads here I cannot find elsewhere. Vonnegut, Updike, Eco, Sontag, Vidal, and more have made their way to my shelves from here.

Adorable little book store in uptown SJ. Had been looking for a certain book for weeks and they were the first of 10+ book stores to have it. They have a tonne of old books, I plan to be back.

This is one of my favorite shops in uptown SJ. As a record collector they always have something that I am looking for. Also the book selection hands down is worth the trip in. Michael and Teresa are always a delight to deal with, always helpful and friendly. Make this a stop on your uptown visit.

When I was passing by they were close as it was too late but their eye catching selection of book(let)s made me stop.I can't comment on their services but I'm comfident we're talking about the coolest people in the city as per the display.By the way, I could be wrong but I guess the store name is Shahrzad in Persian. Please correct me if I'm wrong as a Persian.
