I wanted a good burger restaurant for my two little daughters and wanted to avoid McDonald and Burger King’s burger factory. I found this Burger take-out restaurant with 4.5 ratings and I was curious to eat here looking at all reviews and pics.Overall, my girls and I liked the cleanliness and humble and nice little girl who took the order and probably the parents packing and cooking in the kitchen. We lived in South Korea for 11 yrs so I can tell they are Koreans who does all cooking with all cleanliness and properly. Everything was fine with our orders. My girls ordered “Cheese Burgers without Mayo, and I ordered Spicy Double BBQ Burger. I liked the cheese burger, and so did my daughters as there were a lot of lettuce, onions etc. inside and flavors. I kind if liked my Spicy double bbq burger but after two bites thought that it was dearly missing “spice” as in the name of spice it had chopped green peppers and sautéed onions in bbq sauce and that is it. I wondered why there were no salads added to it? No cheese? It wasn’t as good as it seemed with ingredients and name. Regular fries were good but then we found that only half were long fries and the rest were like broken-tiny potato fries like crumbs (not really crumbs, see the photos to see what I mean) and also seemed too oily soggy. So we ordered only three burgers which are not cheap but still we had to buy separate drinks and fries? That’s not acceptable for me and feels it doesn’t deserve 4.5+ ratings. 3 burgers, two soft-drinks and two regular fries costed us $42, seemed more like a hole in the pocket rather than a yummy hearty meal that would have satisfied my soul. It’s good but doesn’t deserve 4.5 star ratings in my opinion. I’ve seen better serving burger restaurants and they were cheaper and with bigger portions.

One of the best burger joint in town. Service is slow, but that is obviously because your burger is made fresh and not from microwave or steamer. Fries extremely crispy and the burger is full with flavour. Located and hidden inside a mall, well hidden gem. Friendly mom and pop staff.

Drove all the way here from downtown Vancouver. Burger was pretty good but the garlic fries were repulsive. Way too oily and the mayo style sauce was way too salty. Also asked for another napkin but got denied

Had an IT CHAR burger and a bacon poutine. Was absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy and everything was held in a nice bun. Very solid amount of veggies and the burger didn’t break. Definitely gonna go again when I’m in New West.

Great as always! This little hidden burger joint seriously hits the spot, and is so reasonably priced! The owners are lovely, and they hand make the burgers per order so there is usually a short wait time (but it's worth it). Their namesake burger, the I:T Burger is a crowd favorite (comes with 2 patties, bacon, caramelized onions and fries), but all the burgers are wonderful - I usually go for a double spicy Korean burger or the Cheeseburger myself. If you're looking to go all out and get another side ad well, you HAVE to try the garlic fries. So, next time you're in the area, stop by! Just remember they're closed on Sunday's.

Finally got a chance to visit after seeing it mentioned so much in a new west Facebook foody group.Tried the Korean spicy burger with bacon and mushrooms and my gf tried the bbq burger with cheese. Korean Spicy burger wasn’t bad but the sauce was only ok. Didnmt enhance the burger. My gf thought her burger was good.Not bad but not fabulous enough that I’d think of going back.The garlic fries with aioli sauce was good though. Some fries were crispy while others were not.$32 for two nuggets, garlic fries and a few cans of PWould consider going back to try other fries as I love fries!Cashier was really nice.

Probably the best hidden burger joint in the lower mainland. Fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy wedges, and the double cheeseburger was to die for. Everyone needs to try this

IT CHAR, how I love thee! Best burgers and fries in town. I don't live nearby so only eat here every few months but I lust after the delicious taste. Juicy char grilled burgers oozing with sauce and omg the garlic parmesan fries! Delicious. If you get takeout the trapped heat will steam the fries and they get soggy (but still delicious) however if eaten fresh they are very crispy.The past couple visits I ordered the spicy BBQ as the It char burger is too much food at once for me. For two people, two orders of the spicy BBQ burger and one order of garlic fries comes to just over $20 with tip. Amazing value for the quality. It didn't take long either under ten minutes and all made fresh to order.P.S. I don't get why people diss the mall, it's actually beautiful architecture and really nice sculpture in the middle and nice natural lighting. Exudes a pleasant vintage vibe and I love the small vegetable fruit market, dollar store and of course liquor store. Various other utility type stores I haven't been to.

I really REALLY like this place. This is kind of a late review as the last time I've been to it char was a little around a month ago. I got their Spicy BBQ burger and chilli fries. The fries were phenomenal and the quality of the burger matched gourmet restaurants for a fraction of the price.
