Excellent hotel! Incredible staff, great location right across the street from the harbor. The rooms were clean and classy. The bathrooms were bright and featured a really nice shower. Traditional tea service for lunch was delicious! Dinner and drinks at the restaurant were incredible!Book through me and you'll get perks! Early check in/late check out, upgrade when available, hotel credit, daily breakfast for 2.

We stayed here while in town attending a friends wedding. I was on crutches at the time & the helpfulness of the staff was incredible.The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet & comfortable.The location is perfect.The food & drinks were top of the line.I will definitely be back !

A truly spectacular hotel. The attention to detail in the physical as well as the service sets this hotel apart. Comfortably appointed rooms, sumptuous bedding, spa like bathrooms. Everything is thought of. Gold level is well worth the price, the lounge is amazing. We must return again and again.

We were deeply disappointed by the security measures implemented at the hotel. Our dissatisfaction began around 4 am when my husband and I were abruptly awakened by persistent knocking on our door. The individual on the other side claimed to be from hotel security and demanded immediate access. Naturally, we found this situation suspicious and decided not to open the door. In a threatening manner, the person warned us that if we didn't comply, he would return with his entire team! The person in question appeared to be determined and physically imposing, approximately 6 feet tall, dressed in attire similar to that of the hotel's security staff. It was highly likely that he was carrying a firearm. Fearing for our safety, we promptly contacted the front desk. Once the intruder realized we were on the phone, he left. The front desk assured us that they would investigate the incident and provide updates. To our surprise, within just five minutes, they called us back to explain that the individual had played a prank on another guest. We found this explanation to be absolutely absurd and decided to involve the Victoria non-emergency police by filing a case. After 30 minutes, we were informed that the hotel's security footage had confirmed the presence of the individual in question in a room on a different floor. Subsequently, a police officer contacted us, attempting to resolve the case over the phone. However, we insisted on an in-person meeting. When the officer arrived, we were joined by the head of hotel security in the lobby. To our dismay, the young and hostile police officer dismissively suggested that the case should be handled by hotel security and accused us of wasting her time. The head of security, who had more experience, informed us that the responsible person was actually a hotel guest staying on the same floor as us. He used the fact that the guest was on the same floor" as a justification for their access. Furthermore

The rooms are very tastefully updated with some traditional features. They are spacious for an older hotel. The service from the moment we parked to check-in to getting into the room was exceptional. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and helpful. The Location is what sets it apart, with a young family to get up and go was very easy. The amenities are great, the spa, pool and fitness center.The grounds are immaculate, you can just enjoy the landscaping and scenery.We had drinks at the restaurant it was a vibe, the live music, crafted drinks really made it enjoyable. The shops are busy and on the far side of the hotel, great to check out.Don't look at the cost of the room but the convivence of the location, the amenities that are offered. I would highly recommend for young families and anyone who wants to go out and explore Victoria and come back to the hotel for a rest and then go out again. Its so centrally located that you're able to make the most of your time.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a King room; admittedly our view was that of a service entrance, but that weekend we were glad to be at the other side of the hotel, as there was a Ska festival on over the road, which made for a very noisy evening. Our room was very spacious and clean. We were very impressed with the size of the pool; although a few more loungers and chairs would be nice, as it did get busy at times. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept in immaculate condition and the gardeners work very hard to keep it that way. The location is great, as it is just a short walk to the waterfront, into town or even to Beacon Hill park and the beach. Should we be in Victoria again, we will be staying here once more.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the bay. The building maintains a historic feel without coming off as dated. The staff was extremely professional and nice with all interactions. Couldn't be in a more convenient walking location in terms of food/touristy spots nearby.

Comfortable, convenient for your little fur friends, as we had our dog with us (booked last minute) and luxury in your room stay. The only thing we noted was we were offered supplies for our pets in our room, a fully stocked fridge, and toiletry kit, during booking which was not there upon arrival but we asked for the things we needed after the fact. We were able to enjoy the facilities without feeling cramped or crowded and enjoyed the spaciousness of the room we had. Super convenient central location and able to walk the marina boardwalk and walk your pets right outside the entrance. Staff were all very kind and accommodating. Would visit again !
