We love coming here and snuggling the kittens they have up for adoption.

I always find a great deal on a sale or clearance section is a must for me ..friendly staff and easy to shop store.

We love coming here for baths and it would be made perfect if they installed proper dryers. The staff are very passionate about rescue which is so fun and heart warming. My only complaint would be the very small betta fish enclosures they sell but I know that must be a corporate decision.

Excellent service, quality pet supplies and food available, as well as the nicest looking pet wash area I've ever seen. I would say they are on par as far as pricing in comparison to other pet stores. They have best selection I've seen for dogs that require TOUGH toys. My dog shreds everything and I'm quite happy with the Pet Value selection.

Finally found a place where they know what they are talking about when it comes to dog food! Have been struggling to get my Doberman on the right kind of food that doesn’t upset his stomach. And with all this isolation going on, they went out of their way to help me get the food I needed for my dog! Love this place! If you are looking for unbelievable customer service and advice on your pet this is the place to go! Thank you again to everyone at Pet Valu!!!

Absolutely terrible store. Bought a bark collar from this store didn’t work at all on my dog tried to return it the next day didn’t have the same MasterCard I used to buy it was told I couldn’t return it because there had be fraud this way (which I no for sure every other store this has happened to me can). Then after I asked to speak to the own wasn’t give his number and was told he would contact me. I have never been to a store in sylvan that tried to make me feel like I was in any way a thief or trying to defraud there store will never go back except to have my money returned to me for this collar

If you want to be followed around and asked 5+ times in 5 mins if you need help... this is absolutely the place for you! Nothing turns me off more than pressure sales!

I think the store is no longer a corporate store and has been franchised, which means someone has a vested interest in having great customer service.I have only been here 3 times and each time I have found the staff to be very helpful. I have no idea if I was served by the owner or staff but I was treated like I matter, and more important, like they cared about what my dogs needed. My first experience of Pet Valu was Ponoka, and I found the same quality of service there too, and apparently that is a corporate store.So for the folks that used to shop here, I would say give it another go.As for the products, I bought there own brand dog food and both my dogs, a senior and a 2 year old, have taken to it really well. My senior was on prescription food but I switched him, and its made a positive difference. My younger dogs coat has improved no end in about a month of switching from the food she was on at the rescue place.I have no intention of switching stores at the moment.

Not big dog-friendly. The staff seem to be “cat” people. Usually playing on the floor with the rescue kittens when we walk up to the doors from across the parking lot. They don’t get up right away and we stand outside waiting for them to get out from in front of the door. Even if they aren’t on the floor with kittens, their “welcome” to our large dogs is not warm. Big dogs love to go shopping. Big dogs are calm. Big dogs are happy. I will no longer put this store on our radar.
