Mindful Mutts R+ Dog Training and Dog Daycare

Such a wonderful place for my pup, Mochi to take training classes! She had a ton of fun with the trainer, Stefania. Thank you, Mindfull mutts team for making Mochi’s experience always fun!

This is my first experience with a dog daycare, and I can't say enough positive things about Mindful Mutts. My pup is so excited to stroll through their doors each morning I drop her off, and she comes home tired, calm and very happy. The staff has taken the time to get to know her, and have eased her into the routine. I love that they promote fear-free and stress-free training and handling, and my dog has responded very well to this approach. I also love the option of watching my dog on their Instagram posts each day!

Just the best! My puppy started in training associated with mindful mutts, then into puppy parities and now into daycare. She loves everyone she has met through mindful mutts, people and doggies alike! She LOVES to go to daycare and if we even walk within blocks of the area, even on a non daycare day, tries to pull us towards the building. Even if you are working from home and can be with your pups it is 100% worth bringing them into mindful mutts to get some healthy play time and socialization in with their friends, then come home hand have a GOOD NAP. Also they have great customer service and really cool puzzles, harnesses and leashes for sale as well :)

We have been Mindful Mutts clients since shortly after they opened and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only do they take care of our pup like she’s their own, they have bent over backwards to accommodate our needs countless times over the past five years including when we’ve faced both work and personal emergencies. We couldn’t juggle our schedules without their support and it gives us peace of mind knowing our pup is safe and well-loved. We also appreciate the way that Stefania and her team commit themselves to both animal welfare but also equity and social justice. This is evident in Stefania’s hiring practices and the causes she chooses to support publicly. The entire MM team is cheerful, polite and professional. You can’t go wrong choosing MM for daycare, boarding or any other service.

My pup has attended a variety of activities (puppy parties, training, daycare) across both facilities and I can't imagine bringing her anywhere else! ❤️Stefania and the rest of the team are so professional, and care so much about the well-being and happiness of your pets. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone needing care or enrichment for their dogs. It's also equally important to me that a workplace treats their staff well / sticks up for them, takes a strong stance against misinformation / abuse in dog training, and societal issues like racism, homophobia, bullying, etc. and Mindful Mutts checks all those boxes for me!

If you’re looking for somewhere to send your dog for daycare, take training classes or arrange puppy play dates, Mindful Mutts is THE place, even for those outside of New Westminster. Stefania and her staff are incredibly caring and accommodating to our dogs’ needs and the number of great reviews speaks for itself.We started our puppy off in Puppy Parties to socialize him during those early months. We then transitioned to Puppy Classes and he has now graduated to doggy daycare. Our pup cannot wait to go to daycare every time we bring him and Stefania and her staff only use positive reinforcement. We cannot say enough great things about Mindful Mutts.

5 stars from Reggie the pup! Stefania (owner) and all of her wranglers are awesome with Reggie. He’s been going to their doggy daycare since February - it started as a nice way to get occasional puppy socialization time, but it quickly became a regular weekly thing for Reggie’s enrichment (but mostly for the our sanity). We love that Mindful Mutts advocates and practices fear-free, positive training for the dogs in their care! The meticulous intake process ensures it is a great fit between their services and you & your dog. There’s always open communication, and we are very impressed with how they adapted to the COVID-19 situation! We can’t have asked for a better doggy daycare and we highly recommend their services!

Stefania and her team here are phenomenal! I started out taking my puppy Penny to Puppy Parties and we are now enrolled in Puppy Class, which has been super super awesome. Stefania uses only positive-reinforcement, science-based training and she is truly dedicated to making sure each puppy succeeds! All in all it has been wonderful watching my puppy grow into a confident and well-rounded dog- all thanks to the Mindful Mutts team :)

Such a wonderful place! My standard poodle adores his time at Mindful Mutts, and it’s so reassuring knowing that he’s being well taken care of while I’m at work. I highly recommend this dog daycare.
